"The location was wonderful … close to “town,” wonderful bakery (Le Grenier Al’Pain), right next to Lac de Vonnes, beautiful views from the balcony. The pool was a nice treat, with the wonderful additions of a dry sauna and a steam room. Communication with the owner, Daniel, was excellent … he was available to help me check-in and to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay very much. "As a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite a novelty to stay at this hotel, from the moment you walk in you see all Queen and Freddie art work. The hotel is directly accessible from the train platform which is very easy to locate. It is only about 5 to 10 minute walk to the main part of town into the waterfront. I was lucky enough to get a room with a Terrace and had a view over the back part of Montreux. They have central air-conditioning so you cannot change it however they do give you a fan to help with the heat. Overall I would give this hotel 8/10 and would stay again. Thank you Jessica for your help."

"You cannot beat the location. Very close to the train station and right on the main walkway that lines the lake. While I have read others rave about the breakfast, we did not feel the same way. 30CHF was a bit steep. While there was a wide selection of food - pancakes, an egg station, cheese/meet and fruit, we thought most of the prepared food didn't taste that great, just lacked seasoning, but I guess to be expected from a buffet. I think if you are going to get breakfast from here it is almost better to order stuff individually or find a cafe nearby. Other than that, the staff were all very nice, the free coffee, water, candy and popcorn station was a hit with our son and we enjoyed being able to step right out of the hotel and walk down the pathway along the lake."

"5/5 ⭐️ Excellent location directly across from the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy. A big plus was having air conditioning in the rooms, especially during the summer months. Just be aware that the restaurants are not air-conditioned, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during hot weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was was bigger than expected and had a balcony with stunning views of distant mountains. Our son loved his bunk bed with integrated light and USB charger. There was a separate toilet and shower room but no bath. We also missed tea and coffee making facilties though were able to borrow an iron. The lodge was in a great location for our summer exploring and we look forward to returning one day."
