"The location was great. Near the train station. My 3 brothers and I stayed there. We were our touring Vienna all day long and got back at midnight. The walk from the underground station was a little long, but doable. Bonus points for having a long comfortable couch for my 6’6” brother to sleep on. That was a nice surprise."

From the balcony, you overlook the beautiful Faakersee, which is only a few minutes walk on a path right outside the front door. The town of Villach is only a 10 minute drive. "We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, easy walking distance from the centre, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. I find it weird to have 2 single beds put together to create a larger bed as you tend to slip down between the 2 mattresses, other than that the room was nice, tidy and good enough to have a good night sleep. We’d definitely stay at Alpina again"

"A very comfortable hotel right next to the bus station which is handy for getting around and a cheap way of getting to and from the airport. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice and a terrace if you wanted to eat outside. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would happily stay here again."
