"We liked the place and enjoyed the deck. Wish we could of got the firepit going. I didn't realize it was a ladder to the loft (extra beds) instead of stairs. Was not feasible for senior citizen women. The rollaway on the lower level was not very comfortable. I also didn't realize it was only a mini fridge and no stove. My error, need to check more closely when booking. We did enjoy our stay and got to visit 9 wineries and some beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this place to stay."

"Innsbrook is a location we visit when we need a last minute vacation as it provides some peace and quiet along with the convenience of being close to home. We used the provided kayaks daily for fishing the small lake and otherwise hung out in the cabin during the hottest part of the day. We only left the chalet once to visit the newer ice cream shop inside the resort for the first time although we have stayed in Innsbrook several times. Host was great in getting in touch with me for a few items...

"We were in town for a friends wedding. This place was only 12 minutes from the venue. We brought my brother and his fiance to watch our kids with us. This place was very nice with plenty of room for all of us. We played outside and had plenty of privacy. It was a 30 minute drive to the St Louis Zoo which we visited. However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. "The set up of the 2 homes is perfect! The hosts thought of everything, from kitchen utensils to the pool table in the game room! They were quick to respond to our questions. The pool was an hit and did not disappoint! Our guests ranged in age 3-68 and the homes were perfect. Enough room for all. The location is perfect as well. We could walk downtown for brunch or ice cream, or even to sit by the river. We’ll be back! Thank you for allowing us to stay in you homes!"

"This unit did not have a dishwasher, although the instructions indicated “before leaving the unit, load the dishwasher…” we were not planning to wash dishes during this stay. We needed more blankets and we also didn’t realize the fireplace was wood burning. We had to buy wood; it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. The shower and tub dripped, the toilet ran nonstop, and the water actually had a bad smell. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and the grounds are beautiful!"

"I was so impressed by this Inn. It felt so homey. They had lots of little touches and seemed to truly care about their guests. We went swimming at sunset. It was beautiful! The only regrets that I have from staying there is that we didn't have enough time to sit by one of the firepits or to have a root beer float."
