"Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Unlike neighboring hotels like Kenzo (hated my experience there) Barcelo staff is professional and courteous. They make you feel welcomed unlike the Kenzo hotel. They have dining options. Rooms have balconies for views of the beach. The pool is nice and quiet. It's expensive overall but it's worth it. "

"The hotel has probably seen better days but the staff was Incredibly helpful. When my room air conditioner was not working they allowed me to switch right away. They found me a phone charger right away. The pool was very refreshing And you can't beat the location for being right by the Medina and Grand Market and much more. It does not hurt that I am named Fred and my last name starts with J So I felt like I was at home! For the money a great place to stay. "

"They are under construction/remodeling. They should not open until they are ready! Staff was very nice and helpful. Checking in was a nightmare! The third party they use to get paid from hotel.com apparently doesn't pay them so when guests get there, they are asked to pay again! This needs to be escalated and fixed immediately!"
