"A basic hotel that is clean and comfortable. A really good place prior to and after cruising as the hotel shuttle to and from the cruise port is readily available and very reasonable in price. A big plus for us was the close proximity to a laundromat as we were between cruises."

The hotel surroundings show a bit of winter quietness - the pool empty and the garden in seasonal hibernation - but this also gives the place a calm, unhurried atmosphere. Room 10 was a very pleasant surprise: recently renovated, with a brand-new bathroom, fresh furniture and crisp linens. Everything was spotless, the hot water plentiful, and we slept well. Exactly what you hope for after a long travel day. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the gentleman at the bar prepared excellent cappuccinos, which made for a warm and friendly start to the morning. If time allows, take a walk along the coast in Santa Marinella. There are plenty of charming cafés and restaurants."
