    Please note that the road and driveway leading to the house are steep, which is typical for homes in this area. While the road is paved, it's not state-maintained and could become difficult to navigate in severe winter weather (ice or snow). If winter storms are expected, locals often park near the state-maintained road (a steep quarter mile away) and walk to their homes. A four-wheel drive vehicle with snow tires or chains is recommended for winter access.

My wife and I annually visit the NC mountains in September, usually in the Brevard/Hendersonville area. This year we decided to try the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Perfect location, excellent accommodations, and responsive host.

The view from the home is amazing!! Common are was perfect for our stay as well as the porch on both levels. While we had a wonderful time during our stay, there were a few things that could have been addressed prior to our arrival. The sheets on 2 of the beds were stains, there werent enough towels to accommodate 6 guests, dishes didnt seem like they were cleaned as they felt greaay when we first used them, the air filter for the upstairs area was filthy, the game room had more things for kids versus adults as there were wires hanging in the doorway as you went into the room. The location was ideal as we were about 30 minutes from everything. The sheets on t other beds were

We had a wonderful time here. The house is your own private oasis and the view was spectacular. It was easy to get to the local hot spots and enjoy the quaint towns. Perfect place for a family gathering or just to get away for a long weekend and we could bring our fur baby with us.

This house was a great place to stay after a long day on the slopes. It was clean and the hot tub was an added bonus. The driveway was a little icy when we were there but definitely a great place to stay!

Amazing and beautiful place!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. For sure one of the most amazing views we have ever gotten in a mountain home. The owners were excellent about responding to our needs and questions and the home was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to be able to return one day.

The house was great! Everything was comfortable and clean. The utensils are not well stocked for a family or larger parties and I would have liked to have more cleaning products as we did cook every meal there. The views are beautiful and listening to the cows while having our morning coffee was a treat!

Best short term rental I’ve rented

This was such a great experience. The hot tub was amazing! I love that our room had hot tub off the deck. Super spacious and great choice of board games. Jay was an amazing host and I booked the wrong dates by accident and he was super responsive and accommodating and changed the dates. Will book again sometime this year.
