To say that Kagi island resort and Spa felt likea piece of Paradise on earth is an understatement! Beautiful Landscaping with lush vegetation set in the middle of turquoise, aquamarine and sapphire waters of the Maldives, the island is a visual feast. The underwater scenery is equally stunning with the healthiest coral reefs I have encountered with tropical fish of every color and shape! Yes, the currents can be a bit strong, but that's what keeps the Reefs healthy by bringing in nutrients, removing wastes and dispersing eggs etc. If you are not a confident swimmer, I highly recommend booking a guided house reef snorkeling session. MSTS divers were so helpful, and gave my parents a truly spectacular guided house reef tour by 'Imaan' where they held on to a life buoy ring, maneuvered by him. Special thanks to Ahmed also, for the snorkeling lesson and the rest of the dive team for awesome Manta experience (where we ended up seeing more nurse sharks and stunning shoals of fish). Nurse Shark experience with Rimaz was also amazing, where we also ended up seeing Eagle rays!

Our butler Adam, Momin (Bengali chef), Riaz I believe was the Bengali server’s name, the photographer Vizam, and the Bengali lifeguard were all amazing staff. They made our stay enjoyable and we loved the resort a lot.
