"Daniel was an excellent host and provided us with a very comfortable stay. His property is beautifully restored and very modern. We appreciated his information in regard to trains, local supermarkets, where to eat, etc., as well as the nice bottle of red wine he provided. After having been in Barcelona amongst huge crowds, we really enjoyed the tranquility of the village (20,000 people). Getting to the airport by train was an easy 1-hour trip, and into the city of Barcelona only 30 minutes....

"Incredible experience from the very beginning. Stayed at Frederick's and Magda's house for two nights with my 20 year old son. The drive up the mountain dirt road from Figaro gave us a thrill and a challenge for our rented Opel Corsa, but it was so worth it! If you're using GPS make sure you navigate to the farm from El Garriga - a little bit longer but a much better road and a lot kinder on your vehicle. Frederick and Magda were absolutely fabulous hosts and treated us like part of the family....

"Everything about Davids property was incredible. The outside is beautiful and reminiscent of old spain but the inside is modern and just as beautiful. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. "We celebrated my wife's 30th birthday with a gathering of 18 friends for 4 nights. The villa was immaculately clean and well prepared for us. All rooms had towels, padel rackets provided, etc. The property comfortably sleeps 18 guests and all amenities were perfect (pool, padel, garage, bbq). Shops nearby, beautiful location, bins 3 minutes drive which is perfectly fine. Would highly recommend and stay again."

"Aburciès est une ville pleine de charme et d'authenticité. On trouve tout dans la rue. Il y a une super piscine pour enfants et grands a 5 min a pieds en haut de la rue. La plage de blanes est a 35min en voiture. L'appartement manque un peu de modernité mais ce n'est qu'un détails. "The parking was not free, even though stated as such on hotels.com (costed 10 €).
