Fantastic and kind staff. The breakfast buffet was great and beyond your standard continental breakfast. Great shower water pressure!
Cons: Area around the hotel is very walkable, but doesn't feel the cleanest. People don't clean up after their dogs so there was a lot of poo on the sidewalks in the whole neighborhood. The hotel is currently rennovating rooms so there was a lot of noisy construction. Our friends stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was quite cute. Our room was plain and basic even though we paid extra for a balcony (not really worth it honestly). I'm sure when renovations are complete, the rooms will feel more modern.

I and my girlfriend had an wonderful stay at Ipanema Inn. The staff is absolutely courteous, the included breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect. I was expecting kind of a normalish inn based on the pictures, but the room was very nice and was kept clean daily. Many bonus points to the in-room hammock! We had a great leisure time.
