Overall, our stay was decent and met most of our expectations. We weren’t looking for luxury, and for the most part, the apartment provided what we needed — though there were a few things that could definitely be improved.The private room was unfortunately difficult to sleep in. It might have just been our room, but the curtains didn’t block out the very bright hallway light during the night. On top of that, sound insulation was quite poor — we could clearly hear conversations in the hallway, even as late as 2am and as early as 6am. We're not usually picky when it comes to noise, but at those hours, it becomes disruptive and really affects rest. Some guests also dragged their luggage loudly down the stairs, which added to the disturbance. While this isn’t necessarily the host’s fault, better soundproofing would make a big difference.Because of the light and noise, I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed for the rest of our stay, which was actually more comfortable than expected. That said, the pillows provided were quite thin and lumpy, and the blankets were small — just single-person size and not very long, which could be uncomfortable if you're taller than 5'8". Small updates to the bedding would go a long way in improving comfort.The apartment itself was clean and minimalist, which we appreciated. The only concern was a persistent moldy smell in the bathroom, especially when using the shower or toilet. The space appeared clean, so it might be related to the plumbing
