"This hotel is like something out of a fantasy movie. Spectacularly beautiful, with helpful staff, gorgeous sauna, etc. The problem is that they built the doors so well (heavy) that the underlying structure of the building physically shakes everytime someone slams ANY door in the building. And as the place is always sold out, the doors will slam a lot, as the people who were sharing the hotel with me were doing ALL NIGHT. Clearly based on the reviews (wonderful) this doesnt affect other...

"A 4-star hotel (despite rating). Pulls out all the stops to upscale from lovely little entrance with red velvet ropes to well-designed rooms and elegant breakfast room and personal service. The location may be a bit pedestrian but it's a block from main shopping promenade and easy walk to the confluence of the Rhein and Mosel which is a gorgeous promenade and must do. Loved this hotel. A real gem."

"The internet did not work in our room on the top floor. The building smelled a bit strange (maybe from past floods). Our room was supposed to have a „garden view with tower“, but the window overlooked garbage in a backyard. We were kindly offered different rooms at no extra cost, but we wanted to stay together in the family room (there were no other family rooms available). There was a low hanging antler chandelier which caused a gash on my brother-in-law‘s head. We asked for two extra pillows...

"Welcoming and very easy-going staff, very clean, good warm shower and the facility is well kept overall. The surroundings are picturesque and very calm. Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. You will have your breakfast in the same place and the breakfast itself is a special event. Free parking with plenty of space. Great place, thank you for a nice stay. "

"Very good breakfast, room was a little bit dusty, and it appeared like the smells from the kitchen came straight into our bathroom. This improved later in the evening by closing the bathroom door or the kitchen stopped cooking :). Personell was very friendly and arranged synthetic bedding goods for us at the last moment!"

"For a one night stay it was perfectly fine and good value. The room was clean, beds decent and bathroom was nice. There was some paper left on the floor of the bathroom and one of the bed side lights had no bulb in it. The room was big and clean but very basic, no phone, just one desk chair, a huge empty space which felt slightly strange, no pen or paper, no tea/coffee.making facilities, literally just a room a bed and a tv a wardrobe and one light. For our purposes it was fine, clean, quiet...
