"A surprisingly pleasant stay despite initial impressions outside and the general location. The rooms, there were 4 of us, were very spacious and had everything we needed. A nice breakfast was included. The only real negative was we didn't know there was no restaurant service Fri to Sun....we arrived Fri for 2 nights. Staff helpful."

El entorno es inmejorable : Naturaleza, cerca del rio… en un pueblo con algún bar (a 5 min del alojamiento ), tienda de ultramarinos y panadería- quesería pegando a la casa. "The setting was spectacular, we had good weather and an excellent clear view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace and our balcony. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and kind and the breakfast spread was on a par with other paradors we had visited. Yes the floors are creaky and plumbing is ancient but we loved being there and the Parador is due to close shortly for major renovation. "

"Wow! The view from here is breathtaking! I originally planned to stay two nights, but ended up staying 5. I would suggest planning to spend some time here! You can see the Picos de Europa from your room and there are many places to sit / eat outside. Fuente De is close by and the hosts provided many resources for nearby hikes. There is a cool hike that goes by 3 waterfalls, into a small village, up to a cross, and up to a peak before circling back. There are other hiking trails that leave right from the apartments! The apartments themselves have everything you could possibly need and the hosts were very responsive. They even sent a video to help me get to the location without a problem, which I have to say is a first! Can’t tell you how many times other hosts didn’t take that step and had me circling around lost! All those extra touches, the people, and the place make it an unforgettable stay. Do yourself a favor and plan to spend some time here! "
