"Great aparthotel directly at the feet of ski lift. Dream location in the winter, considering parking for free it’s a bargain, great for summer, biking or hiking. 30 min from Kłodzko, 40 min from Miedzygorze so really close everywhere. AMAZING pool outside and inside, whirlpools, baby pools and slides! Nice hotel bar, although wine sold only in bottles (not glasses) but hearty cocktails. Nice restaurants (Hubertus and Puchaczowka) 5 min away. Altogether great place to start holiday from and visit...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Vidnava?
The best area to stay in Vidnava is the historic town centre, particularly around the main square, for its convenient access to local amenities and the town's heritage.

The town centre, focused around Náměstí Míru, is the heart of Vidnava. This area is easily walkable, featuring the historic Town Hall and the Church of St. Catherine. You'll find a selection of local shops and eateries here, making it a comfortable base for exploring the town on foot.

Couples looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway will appreciate the town centre. Its peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the Vidnavka River, where you can enjoy gentle strolls, make it an ideal spot. The historical architecture adds to the charm, providing a pleasant backdrop for a tranquil break.

For those interested in exploring the surrounding natural beauty, staying slightly outside the immediate town centre, but still within easy reach, offers the best of both worlds.
When is the best time to go to Vidnava?
The best time to go to Vidnava is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

During these months, the weather is generally mild and comfortable, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding Jeseníky Mountains, whether you're interested in hiking, cycling, or simply enjoying the outdoors. You'll find the landscapes particularly appealing, with lush greenery in spring and vibrant colours in autumn.

For those planning an active holiday, these periods offer the best conditions. The trails are usually dry, and the temperatures are not too extreme for extended periods of outdoor activity.
