"Stunning villa with everything we needed and superb views. Everything worked and we had all we need to include a baby. The washing line needs repair. It would have been helpful to be given advice that it is quite intimidating driving up to the villa from Bagni di Lucca, and that we should only rent a very small vehicle. The Australians and Americans in our group really struggled with the road and the access to the villa itself. "

"Nice property in an amazing setting. The Villa is in a great spot with fabulous views from the terrace. The interior is very traditional, but with all the amenities you would need. The pool is lovely and much needed in the heat of summer. Given the location you will need a car as not much within walking distance although lots of lovely restaurants in Bagni and a good sized supermarket. The Villa Rosa team couldn’t have been more helpful - from directions, to local recommendations, they were great. Only downside and outside of owners control was we were woken up by barking dogs on a number of occasions early in the morning from the houses nearby. Also bring bug spray if you visit in the summer! Overall a great stay and would recommend "

"The home was charming, clean and host was wonderful! The views were amazing! The drive to get there was intense. If you’re uncomfortable with narrow, winding roads, this property is not recommended. We would have loved this property as an authentic Tuscan experience. If you want to immerse yourself in the everyday country culture this is the place! Unfortunately, due to multiple airline delays we were 3 days behind in travel plans so decided it made more sense for us to avoid the 1.5 hour drive return from a Florence day trip so left a day early. This was no fault of host or property, just unfortunate logistics. "
