Sea front villa Sorrento Coast

The villa is located a few meters from the beach of Seiano, a splendid location on the Sorrento Peninsula, in a panoramic and strategic position, in a private and guarded park, a few steps from the center of Vico Equense. The villa is arranged over 3 floors; upon entering the gate you will find the annexe in front of you with a double bedroom and a bathroom with a floor-mounted shower.
Going up the external staircase you get to the super panoramic terrace with a direct view of the sea. Connected by an internal staircase you reach the first two super panoramic floors: on the lower floor there is a large living-living room with fireplace and two sofas, large kitchen, small bathroom and entrance; on the second floor 2 spacious double bedrooms and a room with two single beds, laundry room and 2 comfortable bathrooms, 1 of which with whirlpool tub and walk-in shower and the other with walk-in shower. It has all the comforts to spend a holiday full of relaxation and fun: refined furnishings, quiet environment, fast Wi-Fi Internet, panoramic terrace on the bay of Seiano with views of Ischia, garden equipped with sun beds and hot outdoor shower, 2 private parking spaces, free and equipped beaches with swimming pool less than 400 meters away and reachable on foot, excellent restaurants and pizzerias in the surrounding area, port for parking and / or boat rental for excursions less than 300 meters away, train station (Circumvesuviana) of Vico Equense less than 600 meters with efficient connection to Sorrento (10 min), Pompeii (20 min), Herculaneum (40 min) and Naples (60 min).
Price shown are to be intended for a maximum of 6 guests. For groups bigger than 6, we give the availability of dependance room (double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and roll-in shower) with its access from main garden for the extra cost of 60 euros per night.

The absolute best place to stay!!

This is my second stay and it was even better than the first! From the beauty of the house, the perfect location and the wonderful and caring attention of our hostess, Christina, every minute of our stay was exceptional. The views from the house are amazing and the charming town of Vico Equense and the Port of Seiano make this the perfect location for the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful Home and People

This was the best part of our stay in Italy! The home was spacious and beautifully located to the train and steps away from the beach. Cristina made us dinner one night and it was honestly the best meal I had in Italy. It was truly a magical stay. I adored the small city and the people couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We will be back to their home again. It was a FIVE STAR STAY. 🏡

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at this property in Vico Equense. There were seven of us, and the layout was perfect! Pierluigi and Cristina were incredibly helpful and responsive. Pierluigi arranged a fantastic boat tour of the coast for us, as well as transportation to and from Naples and Sorrento. Cristina was wonderful too—she prepared our first meal in Vico, which turned out to be our favorite meal in Italy. Don’t miss out on this—she is an amazing cook, and it was so welcoming to have a home-cooked, authentic Italian meal after a long day of travel. Cristina also drove a few of us to and from Vico and Sorrento. She was always so friendly and helpful. We loved the location and the house, and we fell in love with the community—a quiet town with breathtaking views. If we ever return to this area, we would definitely stay here again. I can't recommend this home enough!

Our stay at the villa was exceptional. The breathtaking views, prime location, and easy access to a variety of excellent restaurants and activities all contributed to a memorable experience. While these aspects were all meaningful to us, what truly set our stay apart was Cristina.Cristina’s warmth, attentiveness, accessibility, and professionalism went far beyond our expectations. She made us feel welcome, cared for, and at home from the moment we arrived.After reading glowing reviews about the in-home chef experience and cooking class, we decided to book both—and they ended up being the highlights of our entire trip. Cristina and her son Giuseppe prepared a phenomenal meal, and the pasta-making class was equally unforgettable. It was fun, informative, set in a beautiful environment, and together we created one of the best meals of our visit.Pierluigi and his team played a vital role in our experience. From the well-stocked villa to seamless services like transportation, excursion planning, and personalized recommendations, everything was handled with thought and care.Getting around Italy can be challenging. We’re so glad we relied on Pierluigi for help coordinating transportation and activities—it made everything stress-free and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment.We didn’t realize many small businesses and restaurants in Italy close mid-afternoon for a few hours. Comfortable, spacious home in a beautiful and convenient location

There was plenty of space for 3 couples to spread out in the home, and in the outside sitting areas. We took advantage of the spacious kitchen, and it had all we needed to put together easy meals. We enjoyed being able to walk down the steps to the beach, and up the steps to the town. Cristina was a very helpful and accommodating host. She helped us with rides from the train station and we enjoyed the meal she prepared for us - there was so much delicious food! The van driver and tour of the Amalfi coast was excellent and we hightly recommend hiring a driver rather than driving as a tourist. Vico Equense is a few train stops from Sorrento, and we decided that we preferred Vico to Sorrento. The town was just the right size with enough restaurants and food places, and small enough that we could easily walk wherever we wanted to go. We thouroughly enjoyed our 6 days at Vico Equense.

Home Away From Home

We were four women from California who had been traveling in Italy since April 13th. We decided to stay in VRBO rentals for a change. For the most part, we were pleased with our accommodations. But, once we walked into PierLuigi's home in Vico Equense, we knew immediately that we had saved the best for last! This home is a visionary delight, from the beautiful and colorful tile floors throughout the house to the whimsical, playful art in every room. Clean and well maintained with a fantastic view from the garden patio over looking the beach and port below. As this home is built on the side of a hill, there is a considerable walk to the road above. So, either have a car or be prepared for good excercise. Thank you, PierLuigi, for making us feel so welcomed and "at home"! Anyone renting this place will not be disappointed!

Lovely stay in Vico

We loved our stay at Pierluigi and Mariacristinas home. The views upon arrival were breathtaking and we were met at the front gates by the warm, and beautiful Cristina who introduced us to all the amenities and gave a thorough explanation of all the area had to offer. We also hired Cristina to cook our meal for our first night which I highly recommend as she is an amazing chef) this was so relaxing because we didn’t have to worry about groceries the first night. The meal was so amazing and every bite delicious. The beach is down several flights of stairs and was a welcome end to a hot day taking a dip in the refreshing ocean. The town is up a longer set of stairs but it only took us five minutes to climb them. It’s a good cardio workout and might take you longer if you have mobility issues. The town was lovely and quaint. Groceries were about a 15 minute walk from the house. Coffee shops, gelato and clothing stores were all within close range. The kitchen is beautifully stocked. Full set of stainless steel pots and dishes etc which is lovely to have as we cooked often. The air conditioning worked beautifully and we only needed to turn it on for a short time and our rooms were lovely and cool.Cristina who manages the property was immensely helpful and available for all our queries. Pierluigi was very helpful with car services and info. Only small set back is we found the mattresses to firm, otherwise loved our stay.

Enjoyed our Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa. We had 8 in our party, including 4 kids ages 10 and 7 years. Pierluigi provided outstanding service. He was very responsive during the booking process and a great help once we arrived at the Villa. One of our kids had dental emergency during our stay. Pierluigi helped us quickly locate a dentist. The Villa is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our shopping trip to the many wonderful stores in downtown Vico. We leveraged all of the amenities of the Villa, including a grill, to cook a traditional Italian meal. We enjoyed our meal with the back drop of the Mediterranean Sea from the views provided on the spacious outdoor patio. Each night we would enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail on the patio as we watched the sunset and took in the views. The kids loved the spaciousness of the Villa and the short walk to the beach. There was plenty of room to park our two large vehicles (based on what I can tell, this is rare). From the Villa, we enjoyed day trips to Pompeii and Positano. The drive to Positano was one of the most beautiful drives I've ever taken. The views of the coast and Positano were breath taking. We really enjoyed the town of Vico Equense. It was not as touristy or as busy as some of the surrounding areas such as Positano and Sorrento. This was very important to our group. As an extra bonus, there are a number of fresh fruit trees on the property (apricot, plums, and lemons). The kids loved the lemonade we made with the fresh lemons and eating the plums straight from the tree.

Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Front Villa. The views were great. The Villa was clean and very comfortable. We very much enjoyed relaxing on the patio area in the afternoons. The property manager was very attentive to our needs and was very helpful in coordinating transportation. She even helped us with a pizza dinner delivered to the Villa. The town of Vico Equense and Beach are about a five-minute walk with grocery stores and many restaurants but be prepared to climb a lot of steps. I would highly recommend this Villa for your stay in this area.

Amazing House and Hosts

The house is beautiful and meticulously clean. The location is a short walk to the town center or the beach via stairs. Town has great food and smaller shops which we liked vs the touristy souvenir shops you will find in larger areas. Do not pass up the opportunity to have Christina cook you a meal at home! It was the best food we had on our entire journey. Christina was incredibly attentive for our entire stay. She responded immediately to any questions. I’ve never seen hosts of this caliber. It was like we had a personal concierge during our stay. We rented a boat/captain for a day trip around the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast which was a great experience and highly recommend. We would stay here again - hopefully we will have another opportunity! Highly recommended!

Beautiful 5 days in Vico Equense

We had a terrific time. The hosts are fantastic. They arranged a tour for us, ordered pizza to be delivered, and checked in often. Some of our party enjoyed taking the stairs, others decided to walk up the road to town - neither was too difficult, but something to be aware of. The views were spectacular. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful day at this beautiful property. The management team is extremely accommodating, the town is charming, and the house is lovely. See if you can hire Cristina to cook you a traditional meal! She is super talented. If you choose to visit Amalfi or Positano, which are beautiful but crowded, be ready for windy roads!

Great Villa with Amazing Views

My family of seven stayed here in mid-October. The host, Cristina, was very proactive and communicative and eager to help us define our plans while in the area. The size of the villa is great with an expansive patio overlooking the water and nearby small towns. Everything is gated and felt safe. It was an easy walk down steps to the Seiano harbor/ferry, which we took directly to Capri one day. Getting to and from the town of Vico Equense was a bit more challenging with a lot of steep stairs that some in our party had to take slowly. However, the town was charming. Cristina arranged for a private transfer from Napoli train station, as well as a private transfer to Pompeii with a guided tour just for our family, and then continuing all the way to Rome. This is the way to go for a group traveling with luggage, and made the experience of getting to and from the villa very relaxing. Both drivers, Marco and Pasquale, were friendly, professional, and fun. We also booked an all-day trip to the Amalfi coast--Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello--with Marco. We had a large van and enjoyed being able to see the coast this way. The restaurant for lunch outside of Amalfi had good views, but was overpriced and the sever was not friendly, so if you go this route, you may want to identify a restaurant of your choosing to stop at. That said, the experience with everyone associated with the villa, and the villa itself, was excellent.

What a Gem!!!

Loved, loved, loved our stay at the Sea Front Villa!! Our night began with an amazing meal prepared by Christine! After a long travel day it was nice to sit and relax and not worry about what to do for dinner. The location was perfect! The town of Vico Equense is absolutely adorable!! We happened to be there for the annual pizza festival which was a bonus. Short walk into town and down to the marina. There are steps involved but they aren’t horrible. If we survived, anyone would survive! I would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Wonderful stay in Vico Equense!

The property is spacious, clean and offers gorgeous views of the sea! The owner and property manager were incredibly attentive and helpful in arranging excursions. We had an incredible time using this home as our base for 5 days. One thing that wasn’t clear to me on the listing was that the fourth bedroom was detached from the rest of the house- it worked for our group, but a couple of years ago when my kids were younger it would have been an issue. You will not be disappointed by this home!

Absolutely wonderful

Absolutely loved our stay in Vico Equense! The property manager was super responsive and helpful, very kind, and the property is stunning. It's at the bottom of a windy hill, so getting down is a bit tricky, but ok with small car or if being driven. Steep walk up to main road or down to beach, but to be expected on the Sorrento coast, just be aware if anyone has mobility issues. About a 15min walk to train station, great location. Would highly recommend this property and would stay there again any time!

So much more than just a rental

I’ve been trying to decide how to put into words how great this property is. It is a beautiful and roomy villa with a lemon-filled terrace that faces sunset over Mount Vesuvius every night; had ample room for our family of six, which included teenagers and senior citizens; and was clean and comfortable, perhaps providing the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, but it is so much more than that. The owner Pierluigi helped us plan our entire vacation. He organized dinners for us, drivers who picked us up each morning, and recommended sights and restaurants. The pasta-making experience that he organized was perhaps our favorite day of the trip. Not an informal tour with 20 strangers, but an intimate and unique private afternoon in his parents’ home eating and drinking delicious food and wine, and touring their beautiful gardens filled with every food and spice imaginable. Every suggestion he made was a great one, and he and his contacts went out of their way to assist in things through the 8 days we spent there. Christina checked us in and out, as well as cooked a delicious dinner in the villa for us one night. She made the check out easy with very little work to be done on our part. She also provided great recommendations to restaurants in Vico Equense. We easily walked up to Vico or down to the beach every day (yes, it was a climb-my parents used the longer road, which was still uphill but less rocky than the stairs). And the town was perfectly not touristy and charming.

Amazing Location and House

This house has an amazing location. You can walk to the beach or the town via the stairs. It is also a great jumping off point for visiting Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii, etc. We used the host to book a dinner, transportation to Rome/Pompeii, and a van tour of the Amalfi Coast. It was amazing. Cristina and Pierluigi were very responsive. We were two familes of four with teenage kids. The house was great for everyone! The views are spectacular and we all really appreciated air conditioning at night. I highly recommend the house.

A great house and great location

Highly recommend this property! It was clean, bright, and the AC worked *very* well. We were a group of 8 women and had plenty of space, and we felt very safe at this home, as well as in Vico Equense. Our host, Pierluigi, was very helpful and had good communication - he helped us arrange car transportation to/from Rome and Naples airport, so it was easy to get to the villa. The views from the home are gorgeous - view of the sea from the patio, living room, and 2 of the bedrooms. It is a 7-10 minute walk to the lovely beach - you go down several dozen stone stairs, and it's a stone beach, so bring your walking sandals / water shoes. The beach is free, but you can rent chairs / umbrellas and it has a small cafe. Near the beach are several oceanside restaurants and the port - highly recommend the boat tour to nearby Positano and Amalfi (ask host!). Vico Equense is a very nice (not touristy) town - it is another 7-10 minute walk *up* several dozen stone stairs, with restaurants, shops, and gelato. You must do the private chef's dinner - Maria Cristina is a wonderful cook! We had a fantastic time eating on the patio at sunset.

Beautiful and exceptional stay!

This villa had beautiful terraces and plenty of space for our group of 6 friends. The views were gorgeous, the propery was clean and the location was great with about a 15 min walk to the train station and a short commute into Sorrento. The stairs up from the property, as beautiful as they are, were a beast... especially in the rain. So, if you aren't up for the challenge, take the driveway up to the main road, it's much easier. I recommend that you take advantage of the added experiencees the host offers. They ended up being some of our biggest highlights of our 2 weeks in Italy. Marica's chef dinner experience our first night was so delicious, and made my husbands birthday celebration extra special. Be sure to add on the day trip to Pompeii and Napoli. Our driver, "Super Mario" was all that! He had a fantastic itinerary ready for us, and even took us to a very special and unexpected spot for lunch which made our tour next level! Our hosts, Pierluigi and Marica were fantastic with excellent communication and top notch hospitality. Marica even handled ordering in food for our group one night. They made our stay easy, comfotable and feel very exclusive! We will definitely be back for another visit and stay at this amazing villa again!
