What a beautiful home. Oak Hall is a treasured craftsman-style B&B with modern amenities but filled with authentic mission and 1920’s decor. The entrance hall is stunning, with a large door, grand staircase and beautiful, original stained glass windows. The gorgeous coffered ceilings in the library, with comfy furniture makes a great relaxing place to read a book or play a board game. The dining room and butlers pantry are well equipped for breakfast with many choices and delicious options. The rooms are spacious and also well equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, refrigerator, television, hair dryer and we found the mattress comfy and loved the thick, Turkish towels. Elizabeth runs a tight ship and the house is immaculate! She served a casual breakfast that included many choices such as fruit, breads, waffles, yogurt parfait, eggs, juice and coffee. She also told us as long as she is told ahead of time, she can accommodate for dietary needs.
We plan on staying in the future and love this hidden gem in the quaint and historic city of Vicksburg. You will not be disappointed!
