Breakfast was excellent and the tour of the mansion was very interesting. Enjoyed the morning thoroughly.

Quiet stay in Vicksburg

Room was quiet and comfortable, though the air conditioning was cold and seemed to only be controlled by the main controller in the main hallway of the house. No check-in staff on site as instructions are given via SMS, but a near-by B&B does have a reception to help you if needed, as we did. Breakfast is a three-course affair in the Duff Green Mansion, a short walk down the street.

Generally nice. We had a smaller room. The AC was a bit weak. Breakfast at Duff Green was great as was the short tour afterwards.

Halpino is a very nice property. We arrived a bit later than planned. The managers had texted great instructions for self-check-in and it all worked perfectly. We were able to walk to a very nice nearby restaurant that served delightful upscale southern fare.

Staff was a little cold at check in, but quickly warmed up. The room, Wm Faulkner was small but well furnished, clean, good beds and welcoming. The bath is very modern, large and especially nice. Breakfast the next morning was very enjoyable especially meeting other guests. The mansion tour afterward was slow, long and we eventually ducked out. It isn't a walk-able area but a short drive to Washington street had a selection of good restaurants. Outside of that street the city isn't impressive.

Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!

Had a descent stay. Property easy to get to. Parking was convenient. Check in and check out very easy. Property clean. Bed comfortable. Room was too cold at times. Freezing which was uncomfortable. No ironing board. Shower glass was too small. No shower curtain. Water kept splashing on the floor outside of the shower. Otherwise, the area was nice and quiet and the staff was great.
