"This is a hard review to write because there a lot of really good things about this property. I'll start with the location, which really is outstanding. Steps to everything in Three Oaks, Journeyman distillery at the end of the driveway, and a quick drive to New Buffalo, Union Pier, Sawyer, beaches, and wineries. Communication was also great. Third party manager was always quick to respond and did come across as genuine, professional, and service oriented.Unfortunately, there were a LOT of calls because there were multiple issues in a 4 day stay, First checkin - the original door code didn't work, nor the second, nor the third. We were stranded outside for nearly an hour in 90 degree weather waiting to get in.Once inside, the property was generally OK, some obvious wear and tear on furniture, etc, nothing terrible but certainly not a "luxury rental" as advertised.Wifi never worked during our stay despite multiple calls, we had to use coffee shop wifi the whole trip. Worst, one bed had clearly clearly not been cleaned between visits, with obvious hairs and stains on the sheets. We had to wash all the sheets ourselves before sleeping.Again, managers responded to every concern but never fully resolved any in the time we were there. My hope is that this is a new property and these issues are worked out in time, but for now it was overall a very disappointing stay. "

"A beautiful home! Gorgeous, tasteful modern farmhouse with enough room to sleep 4 couple comfortably, with 3 large bathrooms. Parents’ suite on top level is a DREAM, and so nicely separated from 2nd fl bedrooms and a sanctuary from 1st fl entertaining. Well-appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils, bowls, glasses, mugs, cookie sheets, etc etc etc you could need. Brand new grill. Multiple types of coffee makers. Dining room is huge—also worked well as an ‘office’ for the week. Cleaning, laundry, bathroom, and pet supplies galore. Deck with table was a great outdoor dining option, and fire pit with couch and 4 chairs was a wonderful outdoor entertaining space. Our dog loved having an enclosed yard where he could chase rabbits and harass the squirrels and birds—just beware of pesky Michigan ticks, he had 2 during our stay. Driveway parking was fine for summer. Location was perfect for easy walks into the heart of adorable Three Oaks or around the neighborhood. So many cute antique shops, home goods shops, bakeries, coffee shop, restaurants (we esp loved Oaks Eatery & Tom Cat Tavern). Quick access to New Buffalo, Union Pier, and Warren Dunes. Will be back! "Lovely property that can be booked along with attached unit. Unit is as described in listing and pictures. Kitchen is moden and nicely stocked. Upstairs bathroom is accessible only through the master bedroom. Spiral staircase is a little tight when bringing up bags. The home is charming and well care for. Host was very responsive to all questions."
