Great house and great location. Beautiful garden and great pool. Wifi is good. All shops on 2 min walk. Very good bakery with great coffee and very friendly service. As almost everywhere. We had a great holiday! One negative the bed need new matrasses they are rock hard.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette propriété avec un très beau jardin et une belle piscine, mais les sanitaires mériteraient d'être rafraîchis ( rouille dans le fond de la baignoire et mélangeurs...), il manque également un autre étendoir à linge. Ce n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce mais nous ne bénéficions pas de la totalité de la maison, l'étage étant occupé et un peu bruyant... La maison est bien équipée mais attention, il n'y a que 7 vrais couchages, le 8 ème couchage étant une chauffeuse qui convient à un jeune enfant. Hôte très sympa et accueillante, maison agréable et proche de toutes commodités.

Luscious garden, own small pool, great location - can walk to nearest shops

This is a beautiful old house and it was easily spacious enough to accommodate our extended family of 5. We had thought that we would have the whole house (including the exciting looking turret) but having the bottom floor was fine. In fact, our space stayed a nice temperature even when it was really hot outside. The garden was amazing - so green and luscious and full of flowers, herbs and fresh fruits that we were encouraged to help ourselves to. The little town, Lanheses, is less than 5 minutes walk away and there are plenty of shops really close to buy groceries and fresh bread (even open on Sunday mornings). There's even a post office and a couple of restaurants (which we didn't actually visit due to some of our party being vegetarians). There is a cashpoint and pharmacy 2 minutes walk away yet the area is really quiet and peaceful - lovely! The pool really was for our exclusive use and was really great to cool off in. It is not too deep but just about possible for a not too tall adult to swim around a bit. We were a bit disappointed that it wasn't cleaned properly during our 2 week stay, although it was re-filled and the insects scooped out so easily still swimable. The neighbour who lives upstairs was really lovely and helpful - she gave us many tips about places to go, she watered the garden every evening and picked us fresh herbs. Communication with her was great - she wrote things down too. There was a bit of noise from above at night but luckily we are all good sleepers. There are no fly screens on the windows and it was too hot to keep the windows closed at night so we were disturbed by mosquitos but there weren't actually too many. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms large and airy. In general, we had a really super holiday and would recommend this place highly for families with children, not too young - there are lots of items around the house that you wouldn't want to risk young children breaking. Our teenagers loved the fact that there is external WiFi out by the pool as well as inside! Eating lunch under the shade of the established trees in the garden was a highlight, as was dipping in the pool and relaxing on the sun loungers - bliss! There is surfing about 20 mins drive away at a gorgeous beach, and canoeing the river about 10 mins drive away.

Maison agréable et spacieuse, petits commerces à proximité et village très sympathique. Le propriétaire est très sympa, le seul bémol lorsque nous étions présent, le propriétaire était présent dans l'appartement du haut.. La piscine reste correct pour les enfants et bien sécurisée.

"Villa très spacieuse. Nous étions 12 personnes réparties sur les 2 appartements qui composent la villa sur 2 niveaux. Equipements conformes à l''annonce, avec 2 grands séjours. Jardin très agréable et bien entretenu. La piscine de taille modeste est bien sécurisée pour les enfants. La femme de ménage qui parle bien français, vient chaque matin entretenir le jardin et la piscine et les propriétaires sont charmants."

"Somos um grupo de jovens que tem organizado fins de semana frequentemente por várias zonas! Num dos nossos fins de semana/ passagem do ano de 2010/2011 optámos por esta e ficámos encantados com o espaço e o acolhimento dos proprietários! Encontramos a casa em excelentes condições de limpeza e com óptimas condições em relação a equipamentos! É um espaço muito acolhedor, onde nos sentimos muito à vontade! Tanto o interior como o exterior da casa são espaços agradáveis para momentos em grupo! Esperamos voltar um dia! Obrigada por tudo!"

"belle villa idéalement située dans le bourg de Lanheses,proche des petits commerces locaux.Très bien desservi (réseau autoroutier à moins de 5KM) Propriété pourvue d''un grand jardin arboré très agréable par temps chaud. grande cour pavée pouvant acceuillir 4 véhicules plus garage 2 places. Bien que plus petite(env.5mx4.5m) que la surface utile décrite sur l''annonce (env 9mx6m correspondant à la longueur hors tout) au moment de la réservation,la piscine récente est toutefois agréablement agencée,équipée d''une protection pour les jeunes enfants,et demeure attractive. D''une capacité de 17 personnes définit par le propriétaire avant la réservation,cette grande maison est aménagée en deux appartements de 6/7 et 10/11 personnes. Equipement satisfaisant et suffisant dans l''ensemble hormis le couchage.Nous avions loué l''appartement pour 11 personnes.Je conseillerais celui-ci pour un groupe de 8 pers.maximun soit 6 adultes et 2 enfants ou adolescents.L''utilisation de lits d''appoint oblige l''occupation des lieux communs,ce qui occasionne des tensions. Les draps et les serviettes sont changés toutes les semaines et le nettoyage de la maison accomplit après notre départ ce qui n''est pas négligeable. Sympathiques,efficaces et dévoués,le couple de propriétaires et la dame de ménage qui maitrise la langue française(principal lien avec le locataire) sont à l''écoute du moindre besoin. Remarque: Les propriétaires louent cette villa depuis peu de temps et n''ont pas encore acquis l''expérience de la location .Nos remarques sur place ont permis d''ajuster des critères de location. Attentifs à nos remarques les propriétaires ont apporté sur le site des modifications,telle que le nombre de personnes totales à accueillir(14)et les dimensions reelles d"utilisation de la piscine. "

Villa con 4 habitaciones ...

Villa con 4 habitaciones en la planta superior mas un sofa cama en la sala en total para 10 personas. Lo que no aparece (o yo no entendí) en el anuncio es que no alquila el piso inferior. Ademas los Martes, Jueves y Sábados pasa consulta de dentista en esa parte inferior, aunque los pacientes entran por otra puerta sin contacto con los inquilinos. La piscina está bien aunque de pequeñas dimensiones. El primer día, para asombro nuestro, fue compartida con el propietario, que no se fue hasta el final de la tarde tras la entrega de llaves. La propietaria es muy amable y la señora de la limpieza viene todos los dias a primera hora de la mañana (aunque no al apartamento) y se le puede hacer saber a ella cualquier problema o avería que aparezca. Hay completa equipación de toallas y ropa de cama.
