Force on 5th Avenue Hotel

"Great rooms with enough privacy for everyone. Comfy beds and enjoyed the large kitchen and spacious table. We had a “city view” room and it was sunny and bright. Will try to get a “lake view “ next time, just to up the fun factor. Parking: register your car at check-in and utilize the parking garage that is owned by the City of Duluth. It is about a block (uphill) from the hotel to your parked car. The garage is well lit at night and felt safe. Once I figured out you can park to unload and load by the front of the hotel, it made it easier to arrive and depart on our first and last day. Honestly I have had to walk farther before at hotels that have their own parking lot. So it seemed inconvenient, but really wasn’t that bad."

"The house was perfectl! It looked as if it had been recently renovated. The view from the deck was beautiful! It's location was only a few minutes drive to downtown Duluth and Canal Park. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed our stay!"

"Apartment was fairly clean except kitchen. Dish drainer was gross, and some dishes not clean. Had to buy a new dish sponge... didn't trust the old one. Bathroom needs a towel ring/bar near the sink. Renters should be aware that there is a fair amount of noise from upstairs (and they were older people without children). Enough to keep us up. The place is not very sound proof. We didn't spend a lot of time there, so it was good for our needs. Finishing in the bathroom was clearly done by a non-professional, but was clean with a nice shower. Oh, and there's a rooster that crows at the crack of dawn right behind the house!"
