"Property was just as described. Bed super comfy and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking all day. Host was excellent as we had trouble getting in but she jumped right on it and got us in quickly. Overall an excellent experience."

"Cabin was perfect for our stay (2 people). Cozy, clean and set in the woods. The cabin could use a floor lamp or two in the main part of the cabin. We had a hard time seeing our books with the lightning. The attached additional room(with a single bed and a Pac-Man game) smelled like mildew and was too stuff to really use. Aside from these two things, we enjoyed our stay."

"Great place to stayService is bad out there so we brought a portable DVD player and went old school by the fireGood water pressure,wasnt copper tasting at allGPS doesnt take you to the lodge, just find "The Retreat" sign and follow instructions from thereWe had 3 dogs and with a little extra fee was able to book, host responded very quickly"

"We loved the location right by the river branch. We did a little fishing with the kids. We used the outside fire pit twice and it was convenient and entertaining for the kids and for us as well.The 2 youg girls loved the hot tub. It was very private and peaceful overlooking the river.The girls loved the upstairs bedroom overhead swing.We thougjt there would be a washer and dryer. However, we called in about it and we were sent an extra set of clean towels, and since we were only staying 2 nights, that made everything OK.We experienced a problem with the power to the TV, but after some trial and error, got it working again, so that was acceptable.The cabin was located very nicely to the attractions we wanted to visit just off the beaten track so that it was close yet private. We were very happy with the location.It was a very pleasant experience and the price was more than acceptable."
