"DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE EITHER A TRUCK OR SUV WITH 4WD. The road to the cabin is dangerous and even with 4WD we could barely get up the hill. Two cars ended up in ditches and vacations were ruined because they couldn’t leave the cabin. The host would only communicate through VRBO but there was no WIFI. When I did leave messages they were ignored and I got an automated check out notice instead. There was a huge wasp nest right above the loft window where my daughter slept, no screens on the windows so if you opened a window all the bugs (and a cat!) would come in. The cabin was pretty, but overall, It was a very stressful experience for us because every day we knew we’d had to navigate that road. We had to leave two days early because we were worried the rain would wash away the road and we’d be stuck. This was my first and only time using VRBO."

"Our room was so dusty that I had to dust everything including the microwave, the window blinds, the heater/air conditioner. Even the air conditioner filters were full of dust. I am allergic to dust and dust mites. The microwave was sitting on top of the mini fridge that was sitting on a stand. That made the microwave cord too short to plug in so we had to give up a chair to set the microwave on to be able use it. The mattress on the bed needs replaced. The whole middle of the bed was sunken in. We had to put a pillow there to keep from rolling into it. My husband said he held onto the side of the bed each night to keep from rolling into the middle. There's no insulation in the walls or ceiling. Every time someone walked in the room above us we woke up. On Monday morning they replaced the flooring in the room directly above us. :( We woke up to bang, bang, crash... It was so bad. At times it sounded like someone was dropping a huge chain on the floor. Then Monday night when we were alseep (at 11:15 p.m. then again at 12:15 a.m.) housekeeping decided to do laundry, which was next to our room. The washer was off balance both times and banged and banged and banged. We about jumped out of our skins. We could hear what sounded like the agitator going in the washer (just after the banging at 12:15 a.m.) even when the air conditioner was running we could still hear it. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you."

"Cabin was nice and clean. Bathroom could use updating. Location: cabin was hard to find and more steps to cabin than expected. I have a spine injury so the steps were a little much. Bed was really hard. We couldn’t stay and left early. "

"Kitchen had everything we needed, atmosphere & area was perfect for 4 ladies to spend time together. Host/owner very clear with directions & instructions. We left a Hen & Chickens plant for appreciation! Wish we could have enjoyed hot tub, but weather was just too chilly for us! Maybe next time!! "
