"Really lovely place to be. The interiors are rustic, and feel like I'm staying at a someone's house. Not a bad thing at all though! We also enjoyed being greeted by a friendly cat (the cat was the star of the show). I would LOVE to come back and stay again. The area is beautiful and this would be a lovely place to use as a base to explore from."

"This was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed at on our three week trip to Iceland. Not worth the money at all. Location is a challenge being 28 miles from the nearest village with a restaurant and despite its name is still 15 miles from the bird cliffs on very bad roads. Hotel itself is a bit dated and musty smelling but generally kept clean. Breakfast is very limited. We had dinner one night (one choice arctic char) which just ok but probably the most expensive meal we had in Iceland. Probably would not choose to stay here again."
