"This place has a certain charm because it is smaller and very relaxed as well as 2 to 4 walk to all the restaurants and even the beach. The town is very special in that it is small but has lots of dining options and is located about 200 meters from the beach. Rooms are smallish but adequate."

"Hotel Phønix is a simple old hotel. No elevator, the floor squeaks and the breakfast is basic. But all in all quite nice, don’t expect the grand experience, the hotel isn’ttrying to be anything else than it is. I do recommend for a short stay if you don’t plan to use the hotel as special part of your vacation."

"Vi hadde én natt i badehus, vi hadde egentlig bestilt dobbeltrom, men eier var så snill og oppgraderte oss! Det var rent og trivelig i badehuset, med en behagelig seng. Litt kaldt om natten fordi det blåste mye, og ventilen på veggen ikke kunne lukkes. Fine fellesområder, varmt og godt på familebaderommet der vi dusja. Anbefales!"

We were able to collect our key late at night. Negatives: The heating did not work so we were always cold, the hot water ran out on the only full day of our visit, so we could not shower.
