"Heating system not working while being at -3 degree and the house isolation system is not efficient for winter, from the doors and windows you can feel the cold wind coming in. PLUS we had a plague of mosquitoes so we had terrible nights, mosquitoes in all the house.. We had to pay extra for towels and bed sheets.. De batterij van de klok was leeg, geen batterijen te vinden...het gat in de parasol voet was te groot en daardoor valt de parasol telkens om.Het huisje is voorzien van een leuk terras met een prachtig uitzicht. "Wonderful place to stay while getting oriented to the city. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and our family of four felt comfortable and at home. Location is perfect—train station and restaurants right nearby; easy walk to city center—and the hostel itself has plenty of pleasant spaces to land Definitely a lot of stairs (on the steep/short tread depth side), which caught us off-guard with heavy luggage, but we managed and it was definitely worth it. Accessibility issues could be challenging at other times."

"This is a lovely hotel located very close to the train station, but also right in the center of an area where you can go to restaurants, shops, and a little way down from the river. They were willing to take our luggage before we checked in so we didn’t have to drag it with us. Also, the last day, we left it with them in the afternoon until we took the train out. They were always very kind and I would stay there again in a minute!"

"The hotel was excellent. Staff was wonderful. We loved the hotel. The greatest amenity was it was so close to everything that you could walk to a different café every day you were there. "Beautiful, older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff who are always there to help. The room was relatively clean but is desperate for a make over.....it's showing its age. The hotel decor is quite old fashioned with lots of dark wood and old furniture but still very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's not very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights which were really quite expensive but it was during an Andre Reiu concert weekend so it's only to be expected. The location is ideal for train travellers, which we were, being literally 100 yards from the station. However, it's on the wrong side of the river for the beautiful old town of Maastricht and the big square where the concert is....about 25 minute slow walk. Would we return? Absolutely."
