**BRAND NEW LISTING!!** Tucked along the quiet shoreline of Versailles State Park’s lake, this rustic yet cozy cabin offers a peaceful retreat designed with families in mind. Surrounded by tall trees and the gentle sounds of nature, the cabin blends simple charm with thoughtful comfort, making it an inviting escape in every season.

Inside, the warm, wood-accented interior creates a welcoming atmosphere. The open living area features comfortable seating, soft lighting, and large windows that let in natural light while offering glimpses of the lake. It’s the perfect spot to gather for board games, movie nights, or simply relaxing after a day outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare family meals, with a nearby dining area that encourages shared moments and conversation.

The cabin includes two well-appointed bedrooms, each designed to provide restful, quiet sleep. The primary bedroom offers a cozy, private space with a king size bed and lake view, while the second bedroom (queen bed with twin bunk and portable pack-n-play) is ideal for additional guests or children. For guest use, we also provide board games, binoculars to borrow, and a bird-watching book.

With two full bathrooms, mornings are easy and convenient, even for larger families. The first floor bathroom also includes a stackable washer and dryer. The second floor bathroom is conveniently attached to the guest bedroom.

Step outside to enjoy one of the cabin’s best features: its connection to nature. A spacious deck overlooks the lake, offering a peaceful setting for morning coffee, evening dinners, or watching the sunset reflect off the water. The outdoor space is perfect for unwinding in the fresh air.

Depending on the season, guests can enjoy nearby hiking or mountain biking trails, fishing spots, kayaking, or simply exploring the scenic beauty of the park. The cabin is also a perfect spot for wildlife viewing, with frequent sightings of bald eagles, turkeys, otters, deer, and fox.

We welcome hunters visiting the area and mountain bikers, with local trails nearby for riding. Please note that hunting is not permitted on the property itself. A garden hose is available for washing bikes after your adventures. All guests must not trespass, hunt, or bike on state park property (see posted boundary signs) without the proper permits.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire 1+ acre property to themselves, tucked into the woods with beautiful views of the lake. There is only one neighboring home, and it isn’t visible from the cabin, offering a peaceful and private setting. Please note that the property is surrounded by steep hills, so children should be supervised—but the scenery and quiet natural surroundings make it well worth it.

Other things to note
Our property offers a truly unique and peaceful setting, bordered by a state park on three sides. Surrounded by nature, guests can enjoy easy access to scenic trails, wildlife, and outdoor recreation right from the doorstep.

Because of this special location, guests are required to follow all state park rules and regulations during their stay. A valid state park pass must be purchased at the main gate upon entry. Additionally, anyone planning to fish or kayak must have the appropriate state-issued licenses and permits.

Please note that the property includes natural terrain with steep hillsides and uneven ground surrounding the property on two sides, which may present safety risks. Parents and guardians must supervise children at all times while outdoors.
