South Beach Hotels, Vero Beach

"The staff were excellent. Lisa at the front desk was super helpful and very pleasant. The pool needed a little cleaning because there were dead dirt worms on the bottom of the pool, like a good amount. But it had been raining a lot so maybe it’s because of the weather. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had many things that other hotels lacked. They have a fridge! A microwave, you name it! Free Netflix, Disney Channel, etc. We had everything we need and more. The room I rented with a King bed also has a Queen sleeper sofa. And the property is very well decorated with ocean and beach themes. They even have a gym!!! I was very pleased and impressed. This is my new place to stay at in Vero Beach, FL. PS. The kitchen staff was amazing!"

" We were on the second floor and there was no ocean view!!! The pool was very small and very cold!!!! Not really inviting! The internet was fading in and out or not working at all!! Definitely stressed my husband out- which stressed me!!!! Even though they did have a cable guy come in-the problem was still never corrected!!!! On a more positive note-the room itself was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! The location was also very good! Fun places, a beautiful jetty and great food within walking distance."

"The mattress was way too soft, and the fitted sheets didn’t fit the mattress at all, and it popped off both corners at the top of the bed when getting into the bed. It’s obviously a very old building that is in the process of being updated/refurbished. It will be quite nice when they’re finished. "

"The home is very nice. Plenty of towels, lots of extras available such as sunscreen, bug spray, condiments, etc. Washer & dryer made it nice so we could pack light & the detergent was provided. The extra “cabana” made it nice to have some quiet/private time. It could use a dehumidifier, but the privacy— including a full bath— was fantastic to have. I was surprised that the house is not oceanFRONT— but rather in a gated community with private beach access and is the first house off the main road. Still an excellent location that we enjoyed very much. The WiFi was a bit sketchy while we were there but I think that was abnormal. We let the owner know and she was checking into it. Lauren was a great host & we would stay here again. "

"For the most part, you get what you pay for—so no, this isn’t the Four Seasons, and that’s okay. I’ve been staying in this area for the past six months for work, and honestly, this is the best motel I’ve found in this price range. A lot of the cheaper places tend to smell musty or feel a bit rough, but this one is actually clean and well-kept. Yes, it’s Florida, so there might be a tiny hint of humidity in the air—but compared to other budget motels, it’s a huge upgrade. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and overall it’s a solid, no-drama place to stay. If you’re on a budget and just want something decent without any surprises, this is probably your best bet."

"Look, this place is great if you understand what you’re getting. It’s a no frills motel, right on the beach with a great restaurant attached to it. The rooms are fine and normal. The views are wonderful if you’re ocean front. Showers are strong and hot. Service was excellent and friendly. For the price and location, really hard to beat. "
