Clean and convenient

The property is very comfortable and clean. It is convenient to the ski area, Warwick, New York's apple orchards and fun main street shopping, Penning's Cidery & Orchard. The driveway is steep, if you have multiple cars, parking across the street (if allowed) may be preferred.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. The place had all we needed. It was super close to Mountain Creek - Our last adventure for our daughters who had raced together for 6 years amd are now off to college!!! All communications were clear and Charlie responded quickly with any questions.

Review of Our Stay: Disappointing and Misleading

This rental experience turned out to be the worst stay we’ve had. While the property itself was clean and matched the description in most respects, the claim of a "Private Mountain Getaway" was completely false. We arrived on a Friday night, only to find the house located right on a busy main road with a strip mall directly across the street. It was far from private, and the constant traffic made turning out of the driveway difficult. This was clearly a commercial area, not a serene retreat. The issues continued on our first night when the first-floor toilet clogged and we were unable to fix it. When we contacted the owner the next morning, we were told it would be difficult to get a plumber on the weekend, and no effort was made to actually resolve the issue. As seniors, having only the upstairs bathrooms available was a major inconvenience due to the limited handrails and my own difficulty with stairs. After spending hours with a worn-out plunger on Saturday afternoon, I finally managed to unclog the toilet myself. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my vacation.There were other frustrations as well. There was no house manual provided, leaving us guessing on how to operate various amenities. The internet was unreliable, often cutting out entirely, which meant no TV since it was dependent on the internet connection. We only managed to get the TV working for about an hour throughout our entire stay.We left on Monday the owner was adamant that we check out on time.
