James, I am sorry that the front door was open. That door is hardly ever used and the cleaners had come Friday after we had maintenance done that morning. The cleaner states that she did not open the front door and that it was closed when she left. I would have appreciated notification that the police had been called to my property. When I spoke to the pd the report was very vague and stated that when you had returned to the house the door was open. So, I am confused about your complaint as to the door. I apologize for the bedroom door knob. This being the first that I have heard about it. We can't fix broken if we don't know about it.

*I totally agree that the backyard is not an ideal backyard for exercising your pets at this time of the year. With over 50+days over 105 degrees Fahrenheit and with watering restrictions the sod that we had laid the previous year did not survive. We have removed it and are preparing the backyard for a drought and shade tolerant grass variety that cannot be planted until late September. The night before you arrived we had extremely high wind gusts which would account for the limbs. *This small town has very limited dining establishments. My property states that it is centrally located, I do not give dining recommendations. You are no more than 3-8 minutes from any restaurant or food truck in town. *In my description of the property it states that the TV's all have Roku. All of the TV's work, they don't all get local channels. We have free Wi-Fi for you to access your streaming channels or home tv provider. Due to the trees a rooftop antennae wasn't an option. *After your review, we went back in to take care of any "dirty dishes". All that we found were water spots. Rinse aid was topped off in the dishwasher & all dishes rewashed with vinegar added to the rinse to remove the hard water spots. Vernon has extremely hard water and its a problem for everybody in town. *You mentioned that the neighborhood was not the best. You are across from the Wilbarger Street Church of Christ, their pastors house and an employee of the city of Vernon that can be contacted at any time for emergencies. There is a children's snow cone stand 500 feet to the north of the house. *There is nothing wrong with the neighborhood, it is an older neighborhood and is centrally located within Vernon. Nothing has ever been tampered with, stolen or damaged at this property by passersby.
