This hotels location is amazing it’s one block to the promenade. The breakfast needs some help, staff never refilled any of the juices etc. and to be honest the staff were the most unfriendly I’ve encountered.
The kids club is a nice touch if you have children. The upper desk has a beautiful view.

Cute boutique. Lobby smelled great. Jug of ice cold water flavored with lemon or cucumbers or strawberries, nice touch. Great decor. Staff friendly and receptive and helpful. The room although small had great windows, view of golf course. Terrace view of ocean. Shower very hot which was outstanding. . Thin walls could hear shower next door. Terrace close together could smell smoke from room next door. Would prefer no smoking Period.

The property was near the V&A Waterfront which was very convenient. It was a 10 minute walk or 3 minute (free (hourly)) shuttle bus ride.
The hotel was pretty modern and the rooms were decent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We used the spa and the gym, which were very quiet and more than sufficient.
Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of choice and good tasting.

"We had a lovely stay at The Marine. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the room and lounge were beautifully decorated. Also, it is conveniently located on the cliff path and near the shop, which was perfect. We highly recommend!"
