"Very nice staff, breakfast was pretty good lots to choose from, pizza place next doors, rooms were ok...we had the king suite nice size but no AC in bedroom, needs bigger tvs also needs more personality very dark..all in all we enjoyed our stay close to lots of things."

It has the advantage of the proprietor being in residence, and serving the guests personally to ensure their satisfaction with the accommodations. "The room was appointed/decorated just beautifully and looked towards the lake which was a short walk away. The air conditioner worked very well and there was a smart TV. The only thing missing for us was a mini fridge, just bc we had purchased food earlier. But everything else was just perfect. The inn is just lovely and in superb condition. There is also a charming bar and restaurant. We had both dinner, and breakfast which was lovely and included with our stay. I had fresh blueberry pancakes and made to order eggs with fresh fruit, juice and coffee, and my husband had yogurt with fresh fruit and granola with maple syrup drizzled on top and also made to order eggs. The owners are incredibly nice, truly, not a cliche. We talked about some wonderful history and connections we both had. The other guests staying also were treated so kindly. I would recommend Green Trails Inn to anyone traveling thru Vermont and wanting a New England Bed and Breakfast but in an updated and renovated charming inn."

"Great place, we stopped for a few days while taking a break from hiking the AT. The grounds are amazing, breakfast was delicious, and staff was very accommodating. They even washing our stinky hiking clothes and picked up a pizza for us. Would highly recommend!"
