It has the advantage of the proprietor being in residence, and serving the guests personally to ensure their satisfaction with the accommodations. "This property has gorgeous views, the sound of running rivers, plenty of space for kids and pets to run around as well. The house were completely kind and generous and left a lot of amenities in the cabin. All that was needed was to buy groceries! There was even wood you could buy on property for the campfire! I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back with my friends!"

Excellent breakfast home-cooked , under home maintenance projects while there, would recommend small coffee pot and fridge in room for convenience purposes."

"From our first contact, Brandon, the owner, was most helpful in arranging our stay. Our room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were varied, customized to our tastes, and high quality. Brandon’s tips on what to see and do were tailored to our interests. After expressing our interest to visit a local museum that was closed, Brandon called the owner and arranged for the caretaker to let us in and give us an introduction to the history All the spaces in the Inn and surrounding garden were comfortable and offered a variety of things to do"

"The room was appointed/decorated just beautifully and looked towards the lake which was a short walk away. The air conditioner worked very well and there was a smart TV. The only thing missing for us was a mini fridge, just bc we had purchased food earlier. But everything else was just perfect. The inn is just lovely and in superb condition. There is also a charming bar and restaurant. We had both dinner, and breakfast which was lovely and included with our stay. I had fresh blueberry pancakes and made to order eggs with fresh fruit, juice and coffee, and my husband had yogurt with fresh fruit and granola with maple syrup drizzled on top and also made to order eggs. The owners are incredibly nice, truly, not a cliche. We talked about some wonderful history and connections we both had. The other guests staying also were treated so kindly. I would recommend Green Trails Inn to anyone traveling thru Vermont and wanting a New England Bed and Breakfast but in an updated and renovated charming inn."
