"I regret to give negativity, towards any properties.This property is beautiful, with incredible views. Unfortunately, it's rated 4* but the front desk service 2* Lack of professional serv. & visibility, poor language skills for International guests. House keeping & resto. staff 4* also the pool area/grounds were great. The indoor Spa, is a ripoff... especially, if u wanted to use the pool/facilities. "This is a beautiful property, both the grounds and the room. We were welcomed and shown around upon arrival. They have a wonderful breakfast that is included. There are walking trails close by and one leads into the town. We visited the restaurants and the plaza has the Fuente de los 12 Canos. I would highly recommend this as a getaway; very peaceful."

"Its so obvious this hotel is loved by its owners and its visitors. It is beautifully decorated and all its details are carefully wrought. We only stayed for one day on our return trip from Gibraltar to Central Portugal but it was enough to know we want to come back one day. And let me tell you the breakfast was to die for!!! Especially the cheese cale!! Almonaster was such a surprise, the leafy green streets and pretty gardens to stroll in after the hot sun has set was just lovely. All together...
