Fantastic
Exactly as shown, even better vibe with a beautiful fireplace. Description and photos are accurate, but there is no hot tub and the dog beach is a 5min walk in winter, 15 in summer, Nov-April I believe.

A lovely getaway
The house was great for our needs. Super comfortable bed, amazing hot shower, a fabulous fireplace and a huge enclosed yard for my pup to explore. The dog beach is amazing ... we walked all the way to Cowes and back. Absolutely no complaints.

Ventnor 'Florida' Cottage
Only two of us in the end instead of four, which would have slept four comfortably, but can sleep more. Perfect for our needs. Hosts make it easy. Incredibly quiet area. Slept better there than at home.

Suited our needs perfectly
Ventnor is far enough away from Cowes to enjoy peace and tranquility and close enough to access all that Cowes has to offer. Florida was the perfect place for us to stay. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The yard and the quality of the fencing was an added bonus because our dog was safe and able to roam around the property off lead. We would love to come and stay again in the future.

Relaxing and cute, great holiday stay!
This cute little cottage was spotless when I arrived. In a peaceful setting, with a lovely big and private garden, and birds everywhere, it’s really well located. The owner Nicole was so helpful, great communication, the cottage is well equipped with anything you’d need on holiday. I’d recommend it highly and would love to go back again. We had a lovely time at Florida, house was very clean and everything that we needed was supplied. Our poochie loved the backyard and lying by the fire after we walked along the beach. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

‘Florida’ was a very clean and tidy home and yard for the whole family (including the fur baby) to enjoy. It was well equipped with amenities and wood for the fire. Such a lovely quiet spot only a short drive from Cowes Main Street and the other island attractions. Thank you for having us.

Florida was a clean and comfortable cottage in a quiet area of Phillip Island to enjoy our few days' holiday. The fire place and hearth make the house so warm and cosy. The garden is well kept and lovely with a fully enclosed fence for our 2 dogs. Lots of good walks and close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Thank you.

Lovely stay..
I found Florida the perfect stay for myself and dog. Clean, comfortable, all provisions neccessary were generously provided. Great back yard and only a short stroll to the leash free dog beach. We found the area quiet and peaceful, would highly recommend it, very reasonably priced also.

A peaceful place to enjoy nature
My mum and I stayed for a few days and mum didn't want to leave. We both enjoyed the native birdlife and trees around the property. It is a charming little cottage which is in very good condition, and well equipped. A perfect base for those wanting to experience penguins and and other natural assets of Phillip Island.

Peaceful long weekend
We had a wonderful long weekend at the Florida beach house. It was so peaceful - we saw some gorgeous wallabies down the road. The dog beach was heaven for our groodle. Night times so quiet and relaxing. Perfect home base to go and explore Cowes, penguin parade, the Nobbies and more. If you want to "see the sights" on Phillip Island, you will need to drive a bit, but never more than 20 minutes and usually a picturesque drive. We loved our time here - thanks so much.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday!
The property was fantastic, had everything we needed, we loved it!! House was very well set up, kitchen had every appliance and utensil you could need, great hot water in shower, beds quite firm, lounge room very comfortable! Nicole was excellent in her communication and thoughtfulness. Great location, walking distance to beach, near paddocks, lots of wildlife. We were sad to leave, what a special place, would definitely recommend!!

My Happy Place
This was my 2nd stay at Florida and I will definitely come again. Such a beautiful property with a welll kept lawn that you can lie on and watch the wattle birds feeding their young. Extremely well equipped with everything you could think of in the kitchen, a fantastic range of excellent videos and games. Perfect place for my senior dog in a secure garden and nice and flat inside and out, if you have a dog challenged by flights of stairs . Fantastic large trees in the garden, a gorgeous large deck out the back, and a large outdoor entertaining table with great choice of chairs available. Wood fire in place but also electric Noirot heater for choice. Local produce store not far away where we got the best beef skewers I have ever had. The local beaches are magnificent and are quite different at low and high tides and the grass foreshore along the coast makes a lovely walk. Benji the dog enjoyed the leash free beach just down the road. One of my friends commented that Florida at Ventnor is my happy place.

Nice little house for a quick getaway to the island. House has everything you need to be comfortable including a fireplace for cosy nights. Nice big yard for the dogs with closed fencing and a deck for enjoying the Nice weather. If you have a car it's only 10 mins from Cowes, and 2 min drive to a local off leash dog beach. Good communication with owner. Would stay again.

Property was clean, comfy and perfect for our old dog. The weather turned bad but house was easily heated with portable electric heaters provided. (We didn't get around to using the large enclosed woodfire). The garden was lovely - as was the coffee from The Store, a cute shop,/cafe 2 mins drive away

Fabulous Florida
Just being at this beautiful home relaxes you! After a short walk to the local doggie beach for a friendly stroll & swim with our furry baby. On the comfy furniture we enjoyed a good book, a game of cards & a DVD. The lush garden was immaculate & cooling on the hot summer days. Highly recommended, thanks to Ian for being a great host.
