"The owner is a great person. Very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. This is a non traditional hotel… in the middle of the forest, no front desk, no wi-fi but very nice if you want to be close to the nature. walk distance to a beautiful lake. "Our room had a shower and bathroom, but not all rooms do - make sure you’re paying attention when booking so you don’t end up in communal showers, if you’re not familiar with them. There is a communal kitchen - you can cook your food and store it in the 2 available fridges. Guboja is located right on the shore of Curonian bay, only a bike/walk path separating them. However, it would have been helpful if the description mentioned that there are two hotels with the same address. We got confused at first and ended up at the wrong one, which was a bit unsettling. Thankfully, we eventually found the correct property. It was also a bit inconvenient not having any communication or staff available after 6 PM, but everything else was fine. If you want, I can also make it shorter, more formal, more casual, or more positive."
