The Pearl - Beautiful, renovated Houseboat in Venice Marina!

  • Step out onto the back porch of this newly renovated houseboat directly onto your boat or charter boat every morning! Nicest houseboat in the Marina! Relax and enjoy a cocktail and the front row view at sunset! Bonus: Your charter captain can pick you up at your front door!

    The Pearl Houseboat is a well-maintained, clean houseboat located at the end of Dock B with no houseboats on either side. It is quiet and nicely appointed with a ton of entertaining space, large kitchen with a commercial stove, bar, dining table and large living area. The back porch has both a propane barbeque and charcoal barbeque for your use. There are two bedrooms and full baths that can accommodate up to 9 people. There is a large commercial ice maker on the back porch for your use as well as a smaller chest freezer. Bonus 2: You will also will have use of your own private cleaning station! We enjoyed the great views and spacious feeling of this houseboat. The ac worked great and beds were comfy. The dishwasher was broken, one toilet would not flush and there was a big puddle of water going into the front door. They had two boards down we could walk and balance on to go in the front though. The host, Johnny, was really nice and got back to us right away to get the toilet fixed as soon as he could, the next day. We would recommend the owner getting new pillows and a nice cart for luggage and supplies. We are return customers and the same old, small, broken cart was still there from our November stay. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

High-end Venice Fishing

This houseboat was fantastic. Very clean and the perfect spot for our fishing trip out of Venice. Host was very communicative and accommodated our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great House Boat

Nice houseboat!! Had plenty of space and great views to watch the boat traffic come in and out of the marina. I will for sure use the Pearl boathouse again in the future!

Best location for fishing

The house is on a corner spot; really comfortable, our captain picked us up right there every morning. Very comfortable space to clean fish. Just overall couldn’t have been happier about this place. Will definitely return!

Guys fishing trip

Guys fishing trip. We did a 2-night stay at the Pearl. Our fishing guide, Blue Line Charter Service, was able to pick us up right off the back porch. Even thou we ate out in town; the facility was well stocked with cooking items. Very comfortable place to stay and would stay there again.

Great Camp in Venice Marina

Great stay at The Pearl in Venice Marina. Place was well appointed, super clean and conveniently located on B Dock, just a short walk to the marina. Commercial grade AC unit was a lifesaver to keep us comfortable despite the heat and humidity outdoors. Johnny, the host, was incredibly responsive with check in and check out instructions. I'd highly recommend this place if you are doing an adventure out of Venice!

The age old saying "Location, Location, Location" most definitely applies when it comes to "The Pearl." My Pop and I were looking for the ideal place to stay during our Venice fishing trip. "The Pearl" certainly fit the bill! It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Johnny was very accommodating and responded to my questions immediately. Our fishing guide even picked us up in the morning right off the back deck of the houseboat! We are already counting the weeks until we can get back down to Venice again for some more great fishing and hopefully another stay in "The Pearl!"John D.

We stayed for 3 nights. Great accomodations making it extremely easy to load up and head out for fishing with our guide. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for hanging out with each other having an open kitchen/ living room floor plan. Loaded with everything that you could possibly look for and want in a place to stay...even an ice machine. The owner was an awesome guy to deal with and very reachable. The marina restaurant is a close walk. If you're reading this review and you still haven't decided on a guide yet, I recommend that you call "Blue Line Charters", Rich and Drew. Top Notch guides! Great fun "catching" with them. One further recommendation...for when you come back with the boatload of fish that Rich and Drew will put you on. If you're having the catch cleaned by the guy at the marina, listen to me and remember to take him a Snickers bar. Snickers..trust me! Otherwise, you will get a very obstinate, obnoxiously rude, and cranky fellow who will put a severe damper on your day.Have Fun Catching!!

weekend fishing trip

Enjoyed the Pearl, beds were comfy, view was to die for and we enjoyed walking up to see all the fish coming in. If I had a suggestion would be some chairs /rockers on the back deck...... I would probably never leave if they did. Brand new gas grill worked liked a charm , ice machine was a beast . Will stay again we hope very soon

Winter Red fish trip. 3rd in a row

Due to an extremely low tide. The water broke to the house boat. Johnny took care of it immediately. We will be back for sure.
