Great location to beaches! Many great restaurants with 30 minute radius. Close to downtown Venice! My husband and kids had a blast fishing on the beach and combing the beaches for shark teeth. The pool and outdoor patio setup was outstanding! We loved the outdoor shower, great touch after a long day at the beach. We also enjoyed a trip to legoland for the day!

Wonderful Venice Florida home!

We enjoyed everything about this home! Convenient location! Our dogs loved chasing the lizards! The pool was perfect! Great covered outdoor space. Great porch with comfortable swing chairs. We were very comfortable for our 2 week stay!

Tastefully unique

Such a unique home in so many ways. Design, outdoor space and decor. Each interior room stylistically seemed different from the rest. Fun knickknacks had me smiling and lingering in some rooms. Highly recommend!

Love Laurel Bungalow. It is adorable, comfortable, and loved our stay. The furniture is not only cute, it is very comfortable. Our beds were so comfortable, and the room was roomy. Everyone who came to visit loved it. I loved having coffee on the screen porch, swimming in the pool, and the outdoor shower!! The Hosts were wonderful!

Beautiful and inspiring home

Our family had a fantastic stay at Laurel cottage. From the moment you enter until the back yard with the pool this property is a dream. Very comfy beds, great outdoor area for meals. Lots of room to rest and play.

Great property for our family

Neighborhood was in a great location for us to be close to all the attractions in Venice, our extended family in sarasota, and a boat ramp. The home was very clean with all the kitchen utensils you would ever need, and the appliances were very nice. The pool and the outdoor area is set up perfect with great furniture and cooking area. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay , and we already booked another stay for next year.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful home with everything considered and thought out so well! We were rained in for a couple of days and kept busy with games, puzzles, and great porch swings for reading nooks and storm watching. Thank you!

Cute house with great pool area. Owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. Pool was great. We went to the local VFW and it was so much fun. If you’re members you should check it out. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Stay

Fantastic location.....close to EVERYTHING! My wife is 74 and doesn't go to the beach much so the pool was a HIT! The house has everything you need and the outdoor kitchen and covered area was perfect. Edie, the property manager was easy to contact and responded promptly. Hopefully this lovely home will be available for our next year's vavaction! A definite 10

Tropical retreat!

The details put into this place is outstanding! Beautiful pool and lounging area with an outdoor TV and shower! Very clean. Side porch was great for the dogs to go potty and relax when bugs got bad. We even played Scrabble that was on the porch table! My son and girlfriend stayed in the pool house, and we watched some basketball in there after dinner one night. Huge theatre setting in pool house! Fabulous! We never showered inside! Great tropical retreat close to town and beaches!

Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect! The online description is accurate and it was better than we could have imagined. The location is great and close to anything you will need, so convenient. The backyard is fantastic, everyone LOVED the pool and we spent most of our time back there. The outdoor shower is a great bonus and I was not expecting to use it as much as I did. So much easier to use that before and after the pool. My husband and kids have already said that we need to stay here for our next vacation! Oh, and the fact we could bring our dog was so appreciated. As my daughter would say, "we give this house 1000 out of 10!". Thank you for being so easy to work with Edie and Greg!!

Venice oasis

This absolutely beautiful property in Venice Florida is quite the gem. We vacationed with our two dogs and I don’t think we could have picked a more perfect place. Two fenced in areas, one for play, and the smaller area for them to “do their job” for easier clean up! The heated saltwater pool was our favorite feature of the home as we spent most of our time in the back patio equipped with a large tv and grills. They have u tube tv but if you would like alternatives bring your passwords for Netflix, Hulu, etc.. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the living/dining area was very relaxing. The wall to wall windows at the front of the house brings in the light but it would have been nice if they had curtains or blinds so we could close them in the evening… we are two women and felt a bit uneasy with them open at night. That being said, we didn’t spend much time inside because we had a beautiful oasis outside! We would definitely stay here again as it was the perfect place for us and our dogs.

A Hollywood Bungalow with an awesome LA Backyard.

Feb 2024 we originally rented this Bungalow for the backyard. The pool was warm enough for visits from my Sarasota family. The large covered lanai with kitchen, long table, TV, and comfy firepit easily handled family dinners. The outside shower was my favorite feature while my 30-something kids enjoyed the Pool Houses's 72 inch TV Screen. The bungalow's landscaping creates beautiful backdrops for every photo. I enjoyed the Orchid Tree. Inside the Bungalow we were very happy with the size of the furniture. Our family is tall and we were comfortable on the chairs and sofas. I thought the King size bed was a perfect med-tiny soft mattresses. The Queen bed was a little soft for me. I wasn't on the murphy bed.Inside, I loved the warmth created by a little Bohemian, farmhouse, cozy stlye. Everywhere you look, an interesting "moment" evokes a feeling or memory of joy or reflection.This Bungalow is in our favorite Venice neighborhood. It's close to downtown with all the shops& restaurants and its close to the pier and Brohard Dog Park & Beach. The Bungalow has become our favorite place to stay in Venice.

Family vacay

This property was perfect for our annual family vacation to Venice! The property is very clean, nicely decorated, and well cared for! You would never know it is a dog friendly rental! I was nervous about this when reserving. I love my dogs but def. Don’t want to deal with other peoples dog dirt on my vacation. We didn’t bring our dogs this time but would consider next time because of the great set up for them. The fenced in yard is very secure and provides great privacy. Overall this property is great! There is plenty of spaces to gather as a group but also areas where you can have down time if you need it. The pool is lovely. The kitchen is super well equipped. All the appliances including the outdoor kitchen area were very nice and worked well. The outdoor shower and theater set up in the guest house are really fun touches. We had an amazing stay here and will most likely book again. 10/10. My only suggestions would be a few more lounge chairs by the pool with umbrellas. It didn’t affect our satisfaction in the least. Oh and as a family we all agreed a hot tub would have made this place over the top! Edie and Greg were super responsive to our needs which there were few because of how well maintained the property is and you can tell they care about their home and the renters.
