The room was cute, but whatever cleaner they use leaves all the surfaces sticky. The one staff member we encountered was friendly and even gave us some coupons to use at the Old Salty Dog next door. But they don't make up your room as one expects in hotels/motels/inns. So our beds weren't made, used towels replaced, and toilet paper wasn't refilled. And their office is not open in the evening, so you can't even call to ask for anything. Sorry, but this was not worth the price we paid.

The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. You can tell when you stay here how much effort and personal touches have gone into the rooms and look of the property. It is convenient to the trails and close to Venice Beach and pier.

Very clean. Wonderful, helpful couple running the place. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the kitchen area as I love to cook, except the sink is so small. Nice closet area. My labrador enjoyed her walks in the area very much. One of our favorite restaurants right next door. Very close to the Brohard Paw Beach. My only complaint is nothing the hotel can do anything about... the road traffic noise drove me nuts. My partner said it didn't bother him at all.
