Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This is a unique experience on the Myakka River in Venice, Florida.
In the beautiful Ramblers Rest RV resort park that offers a resort style swimming pool and hot tub, fully equipped exercise gym, pickle ball, tennis courts, billiards room and so much more.
Halo cottage is fully remodeled. The kitchen in stocked with basic needs, dishwasher, fridge and a washer/dryer. Enjoy the Myakka River view to head out and enjoy coffee in the morning at the dock, or launch a kayak.

Main bedroom has an open closet, queen size bed, and work space.
Second bedroom has two twin beds, open closet space and the washer/dryer in the back by the back door.
Living area has a couch and a twin pullout mattress loveseat.
Dinning room seats 4.
Kitchen has all you need, microwave is inside the pantry, coffee maker, fridge and dishwasher. Convection oven can bake, air fry and more.

Please start a load of towels . You can leave food and any items you can’t travel home with at the cottage.

Of you are staying more than a week, please water the plants if they are dry. We live to keep live plants to clean the air and keep things fresh in the cottage.

The garbage needs to be taken out to the front of the park, next to the exit on the left once you’re leaving.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful cottage by the river

We were very pleased with our cottage. We had lots of room to put our things away and the accommodations were very nice. Our hostess was pleasant and helpful with anything we needed .

Family getaway

Olga was such a great host. She was so thoughftul and left special Easter treats for our 3 kids. The house was adorable and very clean. Plenty of room and openness for our family of 5. So many things to do on the property grounds and everyone was so friendly. A true little oasis!
