BOSCOYO "Cypress Knees" - New 3 bedroom 2 bath Houseboat - Cypress Cove Marina

  • Boscoyo "Cypress Knees" is a new built custom 3 bedroom/2 bath houseboat in Cypress Cove Marina. House has just been completed and is being furnished by an interior designer. Come stay at this beautiful home in Venice Louisiana while enjoying world class fishing and waterfowl hunting. You can park right at the house (no traveling down the dock with your gear!!) If you bring your own boat there if launching and fueling at Cypress Cove Marina and you can tie your boat to the the house for added convenience. We do not allow pets.

    The home will sleep 13-16 people in 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with trundle to accommodate up 3 people. Bedroom 2 has 2 sets of twin bunk beds with one of them including a trundle (accommodates up to 5 people). Bedroom 3 has 2 sets of bunk beds with full bed on the bottom and twins on top. Each set also as a trundle and the entire room can accommodate up to 8 people. All bed linens are provided.

    Each bathroom has a shower/tub for convenience and provides towels.

    The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, regular coffee maker, toaster, and blender. All dishware, cookware, utensils, and glassware are provided.

    The large deck outside has 2 ceilings fans. We have a table and chairs for use on the deck.

    Cypress Cove Grill is located within walking distance is you want to take a break from cooking. They can also prepare your catch of the day for you.

After a few trips to Venice this has been by far the nicest houseboat set up I have found. Clean new and great location. Will be staying again.

Great Houseboat

Great houseboat and location in a quiet area of Cypress Cove Marina. The back porch was amazing and the layout of the house was nice. Surprised some basic essentials were not supplied but overall would stay again.

great experience

We loved our fishing trip to Venice and were very happy with our accommodations! They were clean and comfortable. It was great to be in cypress cove. Beautiful and a bit more secluded. My only suggestion is to bring charcoal if you want to use the grill - we expected gas, but were able to pick up some charcoal at a local store.

It was a great place to stay. The guides were able to bring their boats and pick us right up off the front dock of the houseboat. Great environment being able to sit out on the deck and watch the alligators and talk to the other fisherman with a great view of the Cyphers trees.

Nice clean and spacious house boat. Accommodated 9 of us well. Beds were comfortable. Could have had better pots and pans but made due. Overall, would definitely stay again and recommend to others

Awesome Property

As stated this a new property. It’s located in Cypress Cove and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. It’s a short drive to the Venice Marina. We were there to fish and it met our complete requirements. The back dock/patio had a great view of the cypress swamp. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice houseboat in much need of hand rails to access entry points and beware of bolts on face of dock facing your boat if you dock there wrong style bolt .

Gave me incorrect address.

All communication after booking the property was professional. When the address and entrance vide was shared, I thought that to be normal. Upon arriving at the address, I was not able to locate slip 833. . communication with host had a reference to slip 388 which was then located. It took about a hour and a half to locate the property. The slip number is out of site from headlights and directions are down an unpaved road that could be a bad road for folk to use- unsafe? The property had a rule to wash dishes prior to leaving, but no dish washing soap was provided. Bath tub was a slippery trap. It can't finish due to lack of space!!!

If you plan on cooking bring your own pots and pans. The bathroom towels could use some improvements, but the beds are super comfortable and the a/c works incredibly well. The ice machine saved me hundreds of dollars in ice. In a dead end camel with little traffic. Overall it is a great place. I will be back but will carry my own towels and cooking equipment.

This was our second time renting this houseboat. Everything was as described and the host was very responsive. Prices had gone up from last year but so has everything else. Would recommend this property.
