"I stayed 2 nights at Stéfan's place at the beginning of a bicycle trip. The location is ideal; easy to reach from Blois, but remote enough to be quiet and tranquil.I spent a day shopping, riding to Cheverny where I had a picnic on the grounds of the chateau, and back to Vineuil. On the way I stopped at the coop degustation center for Cour Cheverny. "We arrived hot and tired after a long drive.. Blois Novotel was a welcome relief. Reception was helpful and smiley... plus the air con a delight! And the gated outdoor car park and secure bike store were exactly right. Rooms very clean and 'fit for purpose', comfortable bed good sheets. The hotel was everything we needed !! Also very quiet."
