"Good hotel just 2 issues:
- The breakfast is expensive and doesn’t have much, I do not recommend purchasing the breakfast. It was only a few pastries. Very disappointing, it was hard to find water.
- The hours the pool is open, the main reason we stayed here was the pool and it was only open from 3:00pm - 10:00pm rather than all day."
"Spacious room with excellent en-suite facilities. Generous and varied breakfast. Electric car charging station. Out standing hosts, would happily return in the future."
"There are several cafes very near the property, and public pay parking is just around the corner, about 5-10 min walk. The hotel has a nice petite déjeuner for breakfast. You can walk fairly easily from the train station, about 30-45 min walk downhill, but I would take a taxi back, when leaving, although it can be done. The hotel is in a nice area."
"We spent 2 nights at Spalazen over New Years. The apartments are nice, very spacious and of course the hot tub is an awesome addition :) the service is top notch and very friendly. I’d recommend for a peaceful, lazy getaway.
We stayed in cabin #1 and the only thing I would say is there’s a few things missing that would have helped us out. We were in our camper van so luckily could grab these extras! It’s a self catering lodge but meals can be provided for too if you like.
- no soap in toilet....
"The room was tidy but there was so space. We had room for 2 adults and 2 children and child’s sofa was placed in the way, blocking access to the desk. Breakfast was very poor, I regretted buying it. Scrambled eggs made out of powder. Only highly processed and sugary items. Nothing substantial for breakfast. Nothing for vegetarians."
"Je recommande l'hôtel la Truffe noire. L'établissement est très bien tenu, les chambres très propres, le personnel est agréable et le petit déjeuner est délicieux."
