Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. "Excellent hotel in a stunning location with great views and a lovely infinity pool. Room was much larger than expected and had a very unique design. Food was lovely, breakfast had lots of options but all were done to a very high quality. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Many of the Roxanich wines on sale by the glass in the bar which were very reasonably priced. Would love to return at some point!"

"The location was good, the accommodation was sub standard- old, dirty, full of mould and in desperate need of a total renovation. The bathroom leaked so badly water was running into the bedroom. The TV didn’t work, the rusty fridge leaked and hadn’t been cleaned inside or out. The only real positive was the restaurant we visited. Benjamin offered a high standard of service and the food was very good. We would never go back and definitely not recommend staying there - it’s a health trap!"

I booked a Partial Sea View room, but I was not given the room I had reserved. Instead of solving the issue, she insisted that the mistake was mine and claimed that a partial sea view was never included, even though it was clearly stated in my reservation. "Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

Angelo d'Oro Heritage Hotel

"Angelo D'Oro is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Rovinj's beautiful Old Town. Its biggest advantage is the location—nestled among the charming narrow streets and just a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including assisting us with changes to our reservation without any issues. The only minor drawback is that there is no lift to the fourth-floor attic rooms, so be prepared for a few flights of stairs if you're staying at the top of the hotel. Parking is located a little way from the hotel, but the hotel provides a convenient golf cart service to and from the parking area on request, which made the process very easy. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Angelo D'Oro to anyone looking for a characterful, high-quality hotel in the perfect location to explore Rovinj."

"Spotlessly clean villa, amazing location and territory, clean and perfectly maintained hot tub, attentive staff, necessary amenities are just walking distance (supermarket, shops, bars and cafes). Pretty close to Pula and Rovinj, tranquil, vibrant, not very busy - perfect place for holiday. Of course, Adriatic is never a fail and Camping Homes Mon Perin is perfect place to enjoy it."

"Wow, this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is in a prime position which becomes apparent when you enter the lobby for the first time and see the view across the water towards the town. The walk into town is a pleasant 10 minute stroll with plenty to do when you get there. The hotel has everything you could wish for and the staff could not help you enough. The rooms are great and have a great view over the harbour and towards the town. I cannot fault the hotel or the staff for anything."
