"A maneira como nos trataram é um escândalo. 8 pessoas alugam uma casa no meio Portugal, fazem uma viagem de carro durante 2horas, com os carros cheios de comida, bebida, gelo e roupas para passar 3 noites e somos completamente deixados ao abandono pela VRBO. "This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."

"Casa Lerryn is a true gem in central Portugal. Our family of four had an idyllic two-week stay and couldn’t have asked for more. The villa is cosy and full of traditional charm, with everything you need for cooking or BBQs. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.The outdoor space is incredible — the pool was a highlight (especially during the hot weather), and the outside kitchen and dining area offered stunning views and peaceful sounds of nature. While the pool area is a sunny haven, the shaded seating areas nearby were perfect for relaxing. Our daughters loved the meadow, complete with swings, badminton, and football — such a fantastic play area.What really made our stay special were the hosts, Lerryn and Mark. They were wonderful and provided excellent recommendations on local places to visit. Tomar and Coimbra, both rich in history and charm, were unforgettable day trips.Casa Lerryn is the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and hospitality — highly recommended!"

The pool is a community pool, but the hotel has a section of reserved chairs for hotel guests. eBikes were included in the reservation so we biked for ~30 minutes to go down by the river and make it easier to get back up to the hotel. "Terrific stay! Awesome service, cute place, super clean, wonderful location, and lovely views. And the breakfast was great too - real vs powdered eggs, local pastries, fruit, and coffee. I was also happy that that there was a shelf to place my toiletries in the shower. Ideal for a couple of nights if you are traveling light. "

"The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet town but has a good supermarket. Overall this was a very nice stopover and I’d gladly stay here again. "
