Perfect Lake House Getaway

Tucked away on a quiet street sits our beautiful lake house with views of Donnell Lake from across the street. Our house has been completely updated! Every room is freshly painted with new flooring throughout. Our property features swimming access to Donnell Lake (down the road), a new Weber Grill, pool table,ping pong top, foosball table and a bonfire pit.
2 hr drive from Chicago. Down the street from Dr. Lawless Dark Sky Park, Swiss Valley Ski & Snowboard Area, 45 min to Notre Dame Stadium, 9 min. To Diamond Lake Golf Course, 12 min. To downtown Cassopolis Stone Lake and beach, or go ice fishing on Donnell Lake! ! Horse-back riding nearby and 20 min from Four Winds Dowagiac!

The master bedroom offers a King bed, closet space, an 8 drawer dresser, and French doors leading to a sunroom that has a cozy day bed (full-size mattress). The second bedroom offers a Queen bed with a walk in closet and storage drawers on the side of the platform bed. The sofa in the living room opens to a Queen pull out. The basement has brand new bunk beds with a pull-out trundle and an additional Queen air mattress is available.
The house is handicap accessible with two low profiles steps onto the deck and a walk in shower on the main floor.
Lake access is available down the road so bring your lake toys!
Outside is a large fire pit with chairs, outdoor patio furniture, and bags set (corn hole).
There are additional board games, blankets and pillows in the basement armoire. The basement also features a bar, a pool table, ping pong table top, and foosball table for fun indoor games!
Lastly we have new top loading GE washer and dryer.

We loved the quiet neighborhood and the gorgeous lake views. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so roomy. The kids enjoyed the downstairs space with all of the games and access to their own tv. The location feels remote and serene, but you are within a ten-minute drive to numerous restaurants and stores.

It had everything we needed for a nice stay for our sons wedding at Marion Magnolia Farm.

We were no there too much because of the wedding but while we were there we were comfortable. The house was very clean and decorated nicely.

Great Long Weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home over Labor Day weekend! The kids had a great time playing in the lake and so did the adults. Location was easy and convenient to go into town for items each day. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would return!

Pretty house by the lake

Jenni was the perfect host, super friendly, inviting and supportive. The cabin is newly renovated, sits quiet on a nice lot of land. Trees spend enough shade so you can observe rabbits & chipmunks throughout the day. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

This was the perfect setting for our annual Ron Swanson Weekend…a five year tradition with our sons and their boys. It’s planned by “Pappy” and always includes survival skill building, team building and good ol’ guy stuff, but they never know what to expect until they arrive. This year, they all participated in the Muddy Kids Run in Sturgis and your lake house was the perfect location and offered so much for them to do following the run. The basement with game room topped the weekend off perfectly! Great location, great house, lots to offer! Communication was a breeze! 10/10!

Very Nice and spacious!

The basement was awesome for teen kids. We had some rainy weather so they were able to keep busy with the ping pong and games. The firepit was nice but only two chairs so bring camping chairs. Host was very friendly, and easy to get a hold of. Plenty of towels, blankets etc.

Great for weekend getaway

If anything, the property exceeded our expectations in terms of space, furnishings, privacy, and comfort. Three couples and our teenage son found the cottage supremely comfortable for a Notre Dame football weekend. (As listed, it is a 45 minute drive to campus ). We wish we had more time to take advantage of relaxing and enjoying the pool/ping-pong table. Jenni was very responsive at all times.

What a beautiful home, updated with plenty of space and in a great location to our family!! Our host, Jenni, was so easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. Great house

We had a great stay. The house was nice and clean. There were plenty of dishes and towels and our kids loved the games downstairs, fire pit and lake. The only downside is that there were not many takeout options. We would definitely stay again.

Family reunion weekend

We booked this property for the second straight year to attend a family reunion in the area. The home was immaculate and the owner could not of been more helpful or accommodating. Donnell Lake is spring fed and beautiful. The pier with water access is a short walk down the road, easily accessible. The activities in the area are too numerous to list here but there is something for everyone. Thanks to the hosts for a great place to stay!

There was a large group for a family wedding that needed sleeping and a full kitchen. This property was excellent for our needs. The host was amazing, very nice and responded quickly. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home, exactly as listed!

Lots of space, furnished beautifully. The home has a great access to the lake. The host was a quick communicator and the downstairs was excellent for the kids to play while we hung out upstairs.
