This property had everything we needed for our quick stay for our son’s baseball tournament. It is an older house with lots of charm. Had a small issue, the host was very responsive and had a maintenance worker out right away. Definitely would stay there again. Good check in directions, easy access off freeway.
The house was very nice and comfortable. I have a bad back and always worry about the beds when I travel, but this bed was very comfortable, and I had no issues.
I brought my dog with me. A few blocks to the east is a large open field that my dog was able to run around. The owners were great. They communicated very well and always responded promptly. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Absolutely loved it I got this house for my 21st birthday. The price was good the location was good and there was plenty of parking. The only issue I had was getting in but the communication was perfect they answered immediately and solved it right away. I had around 15 people all together and there was plentyyyy of room. Will definitely be staying again and always referring this house to other people!
The aesthetics of the house is cute inside. Nice size kitchen, living room and dining room. We were able to play games as a family. Unfortunately the breakers tripped many times during our stay. We struggled to get the WiFi to work at first. The host was very good about getting back to us in a timely manner. The beds were not comfortable . The house does need some updating. The bathroom door and sink need to be fixed.
We would stay here again, for sure! The host, Jill, was very attentive and wonderful to work with. One small door entrance hiccup that she resolved quickly and efficiently. Plenty of space and amenities. Great location.
Nice place and nice neighborhood. I suggested they put a grab bar in the shower and hopefully they will do that. Good WiFi and TV reception and access.
Nice historic property located where we could easily get to places in Vancouver. Great a/c. Beds were not as comfortable as we thought they should be. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay including nice set of knives.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
After driving 8 hours we arrived at this rental, looking forward to a relaxing evening. That was not the case. First of all, we had an issue getting inside and contacting the host. Secondly, while waiting for his reply we walked around the house to the front door and found a water disconnect notice from the city. He reset the access code and we got in. Turn on the water and it was in fact off! We left to find a hotel. The host and I communicated that evening and the next day, he informed me that I would get a full refund. Thirdly, since that last communication, I have made several inquiries about this, but hear nothing back from him.
The house is a charming older bungalow. It was furnished with everything we needed. Please note that it is on a fairly busy street that necessitated wearing ear plugs, especially in the front bedroom. Also, there is a faint cat pee smell in some of the house and strong smell in the bathroom.
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Picture shows it’s a fenced yard and it is not. It’s on a busy street, so if you bring pets, keep them on a leash! Old house which was fine until the aroma of cat pee and mold starts to come out. Turn on the air conditioner in the master bedroom and it smells like someone dumped a bottle of cologne down it to drowned out the cat piss smell. We were left with a table spoon of laundry soap and a half roll of toilet paper. My husband had to run to Walmart to get more. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! We paid good money and for this below par host is unacceptable!! We were out my 9am and our next destination host was FANTASTIC!
This was our 1st time booking an VRBO property and we will definitely be doing it again in the future! The house was very cute, extremely clean and had everything you could ever need for your stay. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked for all your needs when cooking. We loved that we could park behind the house and there was an area to walk the furbaby. We wanted to give a PERFECT review for this property it was everything we needed and we felt right at home immediately upon arriving! Thank you to the property owners for your exceptional service, we really thought everything was so lovely!!!
First of all, when my family and I walked in there was a smell of animal pee. We came back later at night, couldn’t get in with our code for over a hour, contacted VRBO and owners within that hour with no response from them as VRBO was also trying to get hold of owners also. Finally owners responded, acting like it was our fault, and said they put in a new code to let us in. Went to go to bed, pillows were stained with tons of other people hair all over them as linens were not washed. Couches were stained, with one having a big rip where you sat. Huge dust bunnies, so had not been cleaned for quite a while. Would have left and went to hotel, but it was so late, and thank goodness I always bring a lot of extra blankets. Shared concerns with owners after our stay and no response, not suprised. Contacted VRBO about issues, hoping we could get some of our money back, but they said no it was up to the owners to do that because these we considered MINOR ISSUES, and could not step in unless it was MAJOR! We thought owners would at least reach out to redeem themselves, but I guess since they get their money no matter what they don’t care.
The home was clean but old. There is no air conditioning or ceiling fans. Opening a door or window wasn't an option as there are no screens on the doors or windows so it got a bit warm. There were no handrails in the front or back steps. There was a gap between the house and front steps which made them difficult to use. The rooms are small just big enough for a double size bed, no night stand. I have bruises from hitting the bed post, LOL. The breaker in the kitchen kept tripping off which was frustrating because the whole kitchen is electric. There were no handles in the bathroom. This is a bare bones rental, nothing fancy. Bottom line, for older folks like myself this rental is not a good idea however if your group is younger and just looking for a clean inexpensive place to stay then it would work for you
