"Une chambre d’hote comme on les aime : l’accueil chaleureux de la proprietaire avec un service d’un hotel 4 etoiles. Le jaccuzi et l’aperitif offert apres une journee de vélo ont ete tres apprecie ! Le petit-dejeuner est exceptionnel : jus d’orange pressee (de plus en plus rare), pain frais, crepes maison delicieuses, oeuf, charcuterie rien ne manque et servi avec le sourire. "Accueil par Julie la propriétaire parfait. Le domaine a été très récemment rénové. Notre chambre était rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. La salle de bain neuve avec une baignoire à remous dans la chambre très agréable. Le lit est ferme et confortable. La piscine est très belle et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. L’endroit est très calme et très apaisant. Nous y retournerons si nous revenons vers Orange. "

"What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. "Kathrine and Patrick were lovely hosts and Patrick is cook extrordinaire! The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). A setting Forrest and reflection."

"We were absolutely enchanted by this property. The hosts were so kind, and the room was lovely. We arrived a little early by bike (before check-in time), and they were very welcoming and brought us refreshments while we enjoyed the lovely patio and pool area. The property was quiet, peaceful and so beautiful--an oasis! They stored our bikes in a locked area and made that very easy for us. One of us needs to eat gluten-free and they provided appropriate breakfast options. I would absolutely stay...

"An absolutely perfect stay, Chateau du Martinet is exactly the place for which we had hoped: a gorgeous rustic building, charming grounds, and a friendly team of people that went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel is pet friendly, and two very friendly little dogs greeted us upon our arrival. The driveway is a bit oblique to the main road and we missed it the first time by. But that is no problem because it is worth the drive. I look forward to staying here again. ...

"Owners were warm and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. Christoff prepared dinner for us which was excellent and beautifully served. Room was very clean, large and bed was comfortable. They were also helpful in suggesting other places to visit around the area. It would be easy to stay there for several days."

Be prepared to buy loo roll and dishwasher tablets (one of each left for three day stay). Daily housekeeping didn’t happen so these weren’t replenished. "
