This is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The best part of it is a top floor restaurant with terrace and magnificent views of the city and the bay.

Our stay was very good and also a bit scary not due to the hotel but because of the fires raging around Valparaiso. However, we were in good hands and Sophia helped us tremendously getting in touch with our guide and making sure all was well.

Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant food was so fresh and delicious and there is ambiance. The owner is involved in day to day affairs in this boutique hotel so things run smoothly.

We were shocked by the lack of accessibility for mobility limited patrons. Did not stay. Could not safely get to the 3rd floor room or be assured of safe emergency exit. Kind staff person, but very disappointing. Expedia app should be clearer.

I had a great stay for three nights at BO hotel Valparaiso. The hotel is in a very good position surrounded in picturesque streets packed with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. I walked everywhere from the hotel including the bus station. BO hotel is a big old house that has been transformed into a hotel recently. It is sparkling clean but retains some character from the old building. The staff are excellent. They are relaxed, helpful and friendly. They also speak english which can be very helpful. A good breakfast is served on the top floor with great views over the city and harbour. For a couple of days a week the breakfast space opens as a restaurant and bar in the evenings. There is a simple but tasty menu. I was on my own but I had a good sized room. The shower and toilet were quite small but totally user friendly and hot water was constant. Because it is an old building there is a little noise between rooms and from the road. This did not bother me at all. The road is not busy and I slept well. While I was there, there was a real family atmosphere,which was nice, and they even allow small pets to stay. This must be a real plus for some families visiting Valparaiso.

We loved this boutique hotel so much that we extended our stay a couple of days rather than return to Santiago. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt very calm after being outside in the (wonderful) chaos of Valparaiso. They have preserved the character of the old building very well and we loved the marvelous high ceilings. We really enjoyed breakfast on the terraza with incredible views of the harbor and surrounding hills. The location was excellent for walking all over Cerro Allegre and Cerro Concepcion. There were plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and when we didn’t feel like going out -the restaurant and bar on the hotel’s terraza opened on the weekend evenings. The staff were very helpful and friendly!

The staff—both at registration and in the restaurant—were congenial, helpful & genuine. They went out of their way to help us find the best Chorillana in Valparaiso, and they served up a delicious, healthy & filling breakfast with a smile. Our “family” room was spacious and clean as well.

A cozy hotel with great terrace view.
The BO is a nice small hotel in Cerro Alegre in Valparaíso. The staff, is very, very friendly and helpful. The front desk is manned 24 hours and will try to assist you in any way they can. I’ve given excellent ratings as compared to other hotels in its class. No, its not a Marriott or a Westin! The rooms are small but clean and well kept. The area is a UNESCO protected site. It has many restaurants nearby and one block from the hotel is a well stocked mini-mart. Included breakfast included eggs, breads, ham and cheese slices, cereals, yogurt and the terrace has a fantastic view of the city and coast. The terrace serves dinner on Friday and Saturday nights only. The food is delicious. For senior folks with knee issues, note there is no elevator. The building was not designed for one. For a cozy and wonderful stay the BO is a nice choice.

Nice rooftop
This hotel is in a very convenient and safe location. The staff members at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. They all speak good English and no problem with communication. The rooftop is an excellent addition to the charming boutique hotel. The night view of the hills in the city is beautiful. The breakfast is good as well. However, the hotel is an older building and the sound insulation is not very good. The rooms are small, but very clean. There is no elevator in the building and the stairs are narrow. We enjoyed our stay for couple of nights.

Superb Boutique Hotel in Valpo
This boutique hotel is definitely among the best in Valparaiso. The location is perfect, the rooftop terrace with breakfast is an amazing view of the city, and the rooms have so much character having been updated from an old home. The staff are also extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful.

En el comentario anterior aparecen detalles que nos hace pensar que no estabas evaluando nuestro hotel, ya que nunca fuimos informados del tema del auto, no tenemos administradora, no tenemos problemas de agua en nuestras habitaciones y siempre se limpian las habitaciones. Si fuera así le pediría por favor eliminarlo para no generar confusiones a nuestros futuros pasajeros. Muchas gracias

La experiencia en general fue regular primero cuando recibimos el hotel con pocos insumos de limpieza solo 1 shampoo, en el desayuno la señora por llegar 15 minutos antes del cierre nos dijo que estaba tarde y que agradeciéramos que el desayuno era gratis !!! Al frente del hotel me rompieron un vidrio del auto ojo no estacionar el auto en la calle en la habitación no salía casi agua ! se les olvidaba la limpieza de la habitación un día no la hicieron en la noche …. Lo único bueno la administración tanto los recepcionistas como la administradora del hotel muy educados y pre dispuestos ayudar !
