"It's a lovely hotel. I was surprised to see Foosball tables in the extended lobby area. And people were actually playing them! No issues checking in or checking out. The room itself was nice. No carpeting in the room, which was nice, but I think it made it a bit nosier since I heard people above us walking around. They do have "quiet hours" posted. Breakfast was a typical breakfast. Didn't really have any interaction with the staff other than the receptionist and she was polite and helpful. Parking was never an issue and the parking lot was well lit."

"The room was extremely clean and the bed was terribly comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning was kind of a standard hotel breakfast. Some cereal, some yogurt, some eggs, etc The shower was hot. Perfect."

"Breakfast was nice - due to location a fair amount of train noise in the night - a word of warning and/or thicker curtains would be nice."

"Great location; close to Chesterton and to the Dunes. The property makes you smile when you drive up---beautiful grounds and trees. It definitely has an OG vibe; and for me, that was a good thing. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Some things needed upgrades and some TLC, but I think they were working on it. Outstanding value for the price!!"

"I was expecting more I guess. Beds were awful as well as bedding. Upstairs noise was loud. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Towels subpar. Didn't stay for breakfast so can't speak on that. Had I paid full price I probably would of been upset! "
