"Very nice Spa"

"We truly enjoyed our stay here. Our check-in and checkout was very easy. We came fairly late and missed breakfast. They were so kind to give us tea and some pastries before we left. We would definitely come back again thank you for being so gracious."

"Nice hotel, very quiet not many people staying at all, I guess due to Italian holidays. We stayed in a spa suite, there were four of us, the price was very good. The room, if I'm honest, getting a bit tired. Some floor tiles coming up, taps loose, sink cracked, toilet kept running. On the whole was quite nice, and I'm sure when it was new it was quite special. Beware, as a family going for swimming, it was €30 for 4 of us to swim and you need swimming hats (€20) quite steep to use the community pool really. Breakfast was very good. Location easily accessible and 15/20 mins from centre of Parma."

"The location itself is fantastic, beautiful views, in the middle of mountains, relaxed and family friendly. The location is easy enough to get to, sat nav had no trouble finding it and the mighty fiat 500 rental made it no problem. This is a farm stay, dont expect the Hilton and power showers, however do expect donkeys, horses, cows, dogs, cats and the occasional scorpion (they aren't particularly dangerous apparently) The hosts Matteo and Francesca are very attentive and friendly. The prices are fair, the food and drink is all fresh and local and is very nice. The locals come and visit for food and drink in the evenings as well which should tell you all you need to know. The pool was clean and attended to by Matteo every morning and the garden is nice for relaxing. We used this as a base for exploring the Cinque Terre, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour avoiding the toll roads to get to most places. We want to go back, and as we like going to new and different places this is quite rare, so thank you for our stay."

"A lovely taste of authentic Italy. We stay in so many chain hotels it was lovely to stay in a hotel that felt more homely and hasn't been over developed or stripped of it's character. Great location; a few short steps into town, great spacious family room, good selection at breakfast and fresh coffee to order available. Garden at breakfast time was a beautiful bonus. On site parking was essential for us and wasn't too expensive but street parking was also available. Friendly receptionists and very helpful too (excellent English!). Lunch and dinner available at on site restaurant; we ate once and it was delicious!"

"We stay in the area every year to see family, and have always struggled to find a house large enough for us all that is suitable. This house is that and more. The pictures really do not do it justice. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning, and is cleaned every other day. The pool area is a lovely large space we enjoyed daily. I noticed a few comments before our stay about it being too hot without air conditioning and I can say this is just not true. The week we were there temperatures were 33 and we had 3 children in our group and everyone found the evenings very comfortable. Each bedroom has a fan and that is more than sufficient. There is so much room - you have 2 living areas, 2 kitchen areas and the bedrooms, which are all lovely and the beds very comfortable. It is very close to a beautiful town with everything you need and some lovely restaurants. We loved it so much, we have booked for next year! Thank you so much Cristina for your hospitality. "We had a lovely stay at this beautiful palazzo. The apartments were spacious and clean. We visited with an extended family, so each smaller unit could have their own apartment and some space whenever needed, yet we could all eat outside together (or inside on the occasional rainy day), and spend time in the pool. The kids (ages 2-6) especially adored their pool time. There are lovely small towns to visit nearby. The host, Mirella, is gracious and kind, informing us of local events, and times when local merchants had things to sell, vegetables/fruit, bread, fish, etc. There was also a festival over the weekend with local artists selling their wares, and music and food in the park. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect location to stop, rest, re-energise if travelling on A1 motorway. We stopped at this hotel for one night with my wife and my daughter. The hotel is very clean, good beds, efficient air conditioning, stuff members very kind. It would require some refurbishment but for the price we paid the ratio quality vs price it is very high. A lot of opportunity to taste good food around or dine in with a fixed menu at fixed price. Breakfast was superb!!! Home made cakes, very good cappuccino and espresso. If we will be around again, we know now where to stop. Thanks!! The hotel is not visible from the road and there is an old building when you turn to the Hotel direction/indication that may give a bad first impression, keep going the hotel is there around the corner. "
