" Beautiful historic building. The common areas and our room were stunning! Breakfast in the morning was great. Make sure to go to the widow’s walk in the evening for a view. "

"The Press Hotel nails the “old newsroom turned boutique” thing without the cigarette smoke or deadlines. Sharp rooms, great staff, and enough personality to make every chain hotel feel like a press release."

"The hotel was great! Located right in downtown Portland there are a lot of things to do within walking distance. There is a parking garage right next door to the hotel. Make a trip to the top of the east for snacks and drinks, you won’t be disappointed."
"Beautiful old hotel. No elevator but that added to the charm in my opinion. The continental breakfast & staff were both great. Parking was tight but we were able to snag a spot in the back parking lot. "
"Staff was very helpful and attentive. Hotel was able to accomodate early check-in. Hotel location was fabulous; near stores, restaurants and pier. Did not need to drive anywhere, which was great since you have to pay for parking. Enjoyed my stay. Only con would be that the room had an armour, and there had ro put luggage on sofa. A luggage rack would have been helpful."
"The property was absolutely gorgeous, 144 year old mansion turned into a hotel and locally owned. The staff was wonderful. We were greeted by Magdalena who went above and beyond. And our room was so big and comfy. My only small issues were the bed wasn't very comfortable, I'm pregnant and it's very hard. Killed my hips. And the temp control; there are two controls but one the Nest doesn't work at all, and the other works when it wants to. We like to sleep in the cold, so not a big issue. "
